TP in the Philippines continues to strengthen its commitment to community impact and proudly supports “A Run for Kids with Cancer,” a fun run organized by the House of Hope Foundation for Kids with Cancer, Inc.

Held at the Lyceum of the Philippines University in Davao, the event brought together around 30 employees from TP’s Davao sites, who participated in the 5-kilometer run in a shared effort to raise awareness and extend support to children battling cancer and their families.

More than just a race, the initiative served as a powerful reminder of how collective action can create real change. It highlighted TP’s ongoing mission to go beyond the workplace—actively contributing to causes that uplift communities and inspire hope.

Rachel Cacabelos, Vice President for Human Resources of TP in the Philippines, underscored the organization’s purpose-driven approach: “At TP, we believe in creating opportunities not only for our people, but also for the communities we serve. Supporting initiatives like ‘A Run for Kids with Cancer’ allows us to come together for a greater purpose—bringing hope, strength, and tangible support to children and families who need it most.”

This effort builds on TP’s earlier initiatives in Davao. Through its corporate social responsibility arm, the Citizen of the World (COTW) Foundation, the organization has already extended support to the House of Hope during activities tied to the launch of its Davao Uprise site.

Together, these initiatives reflect TP’s broader vision of delivering sustained, meaningful impact—empowering not just its workforce, but also the communities it serves across the Philippines.
