ABS-CBN is set to electrify primetime with its latest action-drama series, Blood vs Duty, premiering April 6 at 8 PM. Packed with heart-pounding action and gripping drama, the series explores the fine line between loyalty and duty amid systemic abuse.

Leading the cast are Richard Gutierrez, Bela Padilla, and Gerald Anderson, joined by Baron Geisler and Barbie Imperial.
Directed by FM Reyes, Bjoy Balagtas, and Rico Navarro, with Erwin Tagle as action director, the series is penned by Dindo Perez, Cenon Palomares, Jann Kayla Mendoza, and Shania Vonzel. Blood vs Duty delves into the lives of individuals separated by circumstance yet bound by fate, as Cenon explains: “These are people who are supposed to be connected pero napaghihiwalay sila ng circumstances… destiny challenges them, but it’s also a way to resolve many lingering conflicts.”

Richard (Marcus), Bela (Lara), and Baron (Felix) play government agents tasked with curbing rampant gun violence, while Gerald portrays Jalil, the protector of a local fishing community, brother to Barbie’s Jamilah, and son of Datu Rahman, played by Jaime Fabregas. Their worlds collide in a high-stakes battle against illegal firearms, forcing buried secrets and moral dilemmas into the open—raising the question: will justice prevail, or will hidden agendas ignite a full-blown war?
Supporting cast members include Ejay Falcon, Rommel Padilla, Susan Africa, Bobot Mortiz, Bodjie Pascua, Malou Crisologo, and more, bringing depth and intensity to the series.
A JRB Creative Production project—creators of hits like Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin, Darna, Nag-aapoy na Damdamin, and Sins of the Father—Blood vs Duty is led by Julie Anne R. Benitez with creative head Dindo Perez.
The series will stream first on Netflix starting April 3, followed by iWant on April 4, and will premiere on primetime television April 6 at 8 PM via ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and Kapamilya Online Live.
