BINI made history on the global stage as the first Filipino group to perform at the iconic Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, delivering a powerful debut set on the Mojave Stage in Indio, California—marking a defining moment not just for the group, but for Original Pilipino Music (OPM) worldwide.

Performing for a 45-minute set that captivated an international crowd, BINI showcased a 10-song lineup that highlighted their versatility, artistry, and growing global appeal. They opened with “Shagidi,” followed by “Zero Pressure” and “Out Of My Head,” immediately setting an energetic tone for the performance.

The setlist flowed through fan favorites and viral hits, including “Karera” and “Salamin, Salamin,” alongside “Blink Twice” and “Cherry on Top.” The group also delivered the live debut of their new track “Blush,” before closing with “Bikini” and their crowd-favorite finale, “Pantropiko.”

A proud moment for the Philippines

Between performances, members Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena took time to express heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to represent the Philippines on one of the world’s biggest music stages.

“We are so grateful to be here to represent the Philippines on a global stage and to share with you guys our music,” said Aiah.

Maloi added, “Being here with all of you has been the sweetest ‘cherry on top’ of our journey so far.”

Global wave of support

The performance—livestreamed via the Coachella YouTube channel—sparked an overwhelming wave of support online. The hashtag #BINI_CoachellaWk1 quickly surged to global trending status on X (formerly Twitter), dominating conversations in multiple countries including the Philippines, United Arab Emirates, Canada, Singapore, Australia, Puerto Rico, and the United States.

Related terms such as “BINICHELLA,” “Pinoy Pride,” “Mojave,” “Salamin Salamin,” “Karera,” “Cherry on Top,” and “Pantropiko” also trended, reflecting the massive digital momentum surrounding their historic set. “BINI Makes History as First All-Filipino Act at Coachella 2026” likewise appeared in X’s Today’s News highlights.

Across the Philippines, fans—known as Blooms—organized watch parties in Metro Manila and nearby cities through BLOOM Philippines, turning the milestone into a nationwide celebration.
