To celebrate the launch, Samsung hosted an exclusive event where guests experienced firsthand how the new Sound Towers can elevate any gathering into an unforgettable music experience. The night came alive with performances from top OPM acts Over October and The Itchyworms, bringing together music, innovation, and excitement in one electrifying showcase.

“Music connects people in the most powerful way,” said Chris Almazan, Head of AV Business at Samsung Philippines. “The new Samsung Sound Towers are built to bring people together through vibrant sound and unforgettable experiences—so anyone can bring the party wherever they go.”

Unleashing the Beat, Anywhere

Engineered to fill every corner with big, bold sound, the new Samsung Sound Towers are made for those who love music without limits. Whether hosting a large outdoor party or a chill jam session at home, these speakers combine powerful performance with smart, intuitive features.

  • MX-ST50F: Designed for mobility, this model features built-in wheels and a telescopic handle—perfect for bringing the beats anywhere. With custom bass modes, adjustable party lights, and a battery life of up to 18 hours, it lets users take control of the vibe all night long. At the launch, its deep bass and dynamic lights set the scene for a lively Dance Zone, led by content creator and dance instructor Michelle Kawpeng.
  • MX-ST40F: Perfect for aspiring DJs, this model features built-in sound effects, samplers, and microphone and guitar inputs for impromptu jam sessions. Guests, including music producer DJ Hoest, explored their inner DJ energy during the launch event. With up to 12 hours of playtime and the Group Play feature—which links up to 10 Sound Towers—it delivers a complete, crowd-pumping experience.

With the Samsung Sound Tower App, users can fine-tune every detail from their phones, customizing audio settings or switching to Karaoke Mode for spontaneous sing-alongs. During the event, guests enjoyed a fun “Sing Zone” with Over October’s Josh Buizon, belting out karaoke favorites powered by Samsung’s signature room-filling sound.

“The Sound Towers are engineered to deliver powerful, punchy sounds that elevate every musical moment,” said Almazan. “These are more than just speakers—they’re a way to create memories, connect with people, and celebrate life through music.”

A Celebration of Music and Innovation

The event reached its peak when The Itchyworms took the stage, giving guests a preview of their upcoming episode of Samsung Sound Sessions—a digital music series that showcases the Philippines’ most talented artists performing in immersive, high-definition sound.

New episodes of Samsung Sound Sessions drop every Thursday at 6 PM on Samsung’s official Facebook, X, TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram pages, featuring the country’s top musicians and introducing listeners to fresh genres—all brought to life through Samsung’s cutting-edge audio technology.
