An Evening for Brave Warriors unites fashion, art, and heartfelt advocacy for children with cancer.

The I Want To Share Foundation (IWTS) staged a powerful return with its charity gala, An Evening for Brave Warriors, held at the Grand Ballroom of Shangri-La The Fort. The event united fashion, art, and philanthropy for one mission: to bring light and hope to children battling cancer.

₱88M Raised for a Greater Cause
The gala achieved a historic milestone, raising an astounding ₱88 million—the foundation’s biggest fundraising success yet. Over 550 philanthropists, celebrities, and changemakers came together, proving that when creativity meets compassion, extraordinary things happen.

The True Stars of the Night
Young cancer survivors stole the spotlight, gracing the runway with unmatched courage and radiant smiles. Wearing breathtaking pieces by Francis Libiran, Ivar Aseron, Dennis Lustico, and Michael Leyva, these brave warriors transformed fashion’s catwalk into a stage of resilience, hope, and survival.

“As a cancer survivor, this mission is deeply personal to me,” shared Sheila Romero, IWTS Founder. “This isn’t just about raising funds—it’s about showing every child they are seen, loved, and never alone in their journey.”

Art with a Purpose
The highly anticipated art auction featured masterpieces by legends such as Ramon Orlina, Daniel De La Cruz, Jinggoy Buensuceso, Manny Garibay, Elmer Borlongan, Jigger Cruz, Yeo Kaa, Ayka Go, and more. Each work, crafted with love and intention, was not only art—it was a message of solidarity and hope.

A Legacy of Advocacy and Support
Proceeds from the gala will fuel life-saving projects, including:

  • Phase 2 of the Philippines’ first Charity Bone Marrow Transplant Wing at PGH
  • Donation of 50 Infusion Pumps to PGH Cancer Institute—the first-ever of its kind by any foundation
  • Expansion of IWTS’s Survivorship Program, offering CT scans, hearing aids, financial support, and the inspiring “CAn Beat It” Graduation Ceremony for children who have completed chemotherapy

Moments That Stirred the Soul
The night reached its peak when Gary Valenciano, a cancer survivor himself, delivered a heartfelt performance that moved the entire ballroom. In a touching finale, the young survivors lit candles—each flame symbolizing life, courage, and unwavering hope.

A Collective Triumph
The event’s success was made possible through the heartfelt support of Belo Medical Group, Rockwell, Spruce Gallery, Casa Juan, Nice Print, Vision Express, and many others who shared not just resources, but empathy and belief in the mission.

“An Evening for Brave Warriors is more than a gala—it’s a statement of solidarity,” Romero concluded. “Together, we are building a future where no child is left behind in the fight against cancer.”
