A Rallying Cry for the Misfits
More than just a song, “Creatures of Chaos” is a bold anthem for outsiders everywhere.
“It’s a global invitation to all misfits and anyone who’s ever felt like they didn’t belong,” shares frontman Lauri Ylönen. “The world feels chaotic right now. I wanted the music to reflect that sense of fear and disconnection—but also hope and unity. It’s about finding your people and standing for something.”
Artist Bio

Written by Ylönen alongside hitmakers Desmond Child and Marti Fredriksen, the track comes alive with gritty guitar riffs, sweeping choruses, and raw emotion. It was recorded at Fredriksen’s Sienna Studios in Nashville, with additional production and final mastering handled by Joseph McQueen at Sparrow Sound in Los Angeles.
Fueled by Rebellion and Unity
Produced by Child and Fredriksen—who have worked with the likes of Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Joan Jett, and Alice Cooper—“Creatures of Chaos” captures The Rasmus at their boldest and most dynamic. It’s a natural successor to their October 2024 release “Rest In Pieces,” which has already racked up over 478,000 views on YouTube.
With a global streaming footprint of 829 million plays, The Rasmus continue to connect deeply with fans across generations and geographies. Their sound—moody yet melodic, intense yet accessible—remains timeless.
A Rock Legacy That Keeps Growing
Formed in Helsinki in 1994, The Rasmus broke into global stardom with their 2003 breakout album Dead Letters, featuring the iconic hit “In the Shadows.” The track went on to become a worldwide rock anthem, especially beloved in Southeast Asia, including the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore.
Led by Lauri’s unmistakable voice and haunting stage presence, the band has released ten studio albums and chart-topping tracks like “Guilty,” “First Day of My Life,” and “Livin’ in a World Without You.”
In 2022, they proudly represented Finland at Eurovision with “Jezebel”—a collaboration with Desmond Child that signaled a bold new era for the group.
From sold-out tours across Europe, Asia, and Latin America to high-energy shows that mix intensity with intimacy, The Rasmus continue to evolve while staying true to their theatrical and emotionally charged roots.
