2025 Choral Festival: Andrea O. Veneracion Submissions Open

The Andrea O. Veneracion International Choral Festival (AOVICF) Manila 2025 is still accepting applications from choirs around the globe! The deadline for submissions is April 30, 2025, and the prestigious competition will take place from August 20 to 24, 2025, in Metro Manila.

Now on its 6th edition, AOVICF Manila continues to highlight the power and beauty of choral music, with a focus on artistic excellence and cultural exchange. The festival features six exciting competition categories:

• Children’s Choir
• Equal Voices
• Folk Song and Indigenous Music
• Mixed Choir
• Musica Sacra
• Popular Music

Generous cash prizes await the winners! The First Prize winner in the Mixed Choir category will receive ₱200,000, while First Prize winners in the other categories will each receive ₱150,000. Additional special awards for Best Conductor and Best Performance of the Contest Piece may also be presented.

Who Can Join?

The competition is open to amateur choirs that have been active for at least two years. To apply, groups must submit the following:

• A completed application form
• An audio or video recording of 2–3 songs from different genres (recorded within the last 6 months)
• A recent CV and photo of both the choir and the conductor

All submissions should be emailed to secretariat@aovchoralfestph.com with the subject line:
“AOVICF 2025: (Name of Choir)”

Registration Fees:

• USD 400 for international (non-Filipino) choirs
• PHP 15,000 for Filipino choirs

Accepted choirs must confirm participation by sending proof of payment on or before May 30, 2025.

Organized by the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) in partnership with the renowned Philippine Madrigal Singers, AOVICF is part of the Asia Choral Grand Prix, alongside esteemed choral festivals in Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia. The event serves as a powerful international platform for cultural dialogue and vocal artistry.
