According to the latest data from market research firm Omdia, TCL claimed the No. 1 spot worldwide in shipments of ultra-large TVs (85 inches and above), Mini LED TVs, and Google TVs.



In 2024 alone, TCL led the global market for ultra-large TVs, capturing a 22.1% share in the 85-inch and above category. The brand also dominated the Mini LED TV segment with a commanding 28.8% market share. Meanwhile, TCL has maintained its position as the top global brand for Google TV shipments consistently from 2021 to 2024.
These impressive milestones come as consumer preferences continue to shift toward more immersive and high-performance home entertainment systems. With more families spending time at home, demand for larger, clearer, and smarter TVs has surged. Omdia projects that shipments of 80-inch and larger TVs will grow by 35% year-on-year in 2025, making up 7% of the total TV market—a number expected to rise to 11% by 2030. Similarly, Mini LED TV shipments are forecast to reach 9.3 million units in 2025, reflecting the growing demand for premium display technology.
