Prime Video Unveils Premiere Date and Releases Official Trailer for Cattleya Killer

A Prime Video original series based on the classic 1990s Filipino film “Sa Aking Mga Kamay” is set to premiere on June 1. This marks the initial partnership between Prime Video and ABS-CBN for a locally-produced series.

Prime Video has announced the launch date for Cattleya Killer, a six-part crime-thriller series produced by ABS-CBN International Production and Nathan Studios. The series, based on the 1990s Filipino classic film “Sa Aking Mga Kamay,” will be available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on June 1 in selected territories, including Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. It marks the first collaboration between Prime Video and ABS-CBN and reinforces the company’s commitment to showcasing Filipino talent and stories to a global audience.

The show features an all-star cast, including Arjo Atayde, Jake Cuenca, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Jane Oineza, Ria Atayde, Ricky Davao, Nonie Buencamino, and Christopher de Leon, who reprises his role as Joven de la Rosa from the original film.

Cattleya Killer’s storyline begins years after the notorious Cattleya Killer case. Joven de la Rosa is now an NBI deputy director, and his youngest son, Anton, is one of his top agents, while his eldest son, Benjie, runs a foundation for traumatized women. However, when a body is found with the telltale markings of the long-dead Cattleya Killer, their lives and those around them are turned upside down. As the investigation tightens, dark secrets are revealed, and the line between reality and fantasy blurs, leaving no one and nothing as it seems.
