Korea’s Favorite Chicken Is Now Available In Manila: Smoper Chicken

Korea’s most popular and favorite crispy-fried chicken is now in the Philippines: Smoper Chicken is now in Bonifacio Global City!

It’s first branch opened at One McKinley Place (26th St. cor 4th Ave., Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City) last April, 2013.

You can have your favorite fried chicken (drumstick, thigh, or breast part) glazed with the sauce of your choice! You can choose from: original, spicy, soy garlic, curry, and tukgangjung, which is a sweet-spicy blend.

According to owner Jieun Bae, who moved from Korea to Manila more than five years ago, the sauces are “all from Korea.” Jieun, a Korean national married to a Filipino, adds, “That’s why Smoper Chicken is very unique because you have more choices.”

Smoper Chicken is ideal for budget-conscious customers. All offerings at Smoper Chicken are reasonably priced. For instance, the one-piece chicken (drumstick, thigh, or breast part) meal that comes with a cup of rice and a drink is priced only at P95, while the two-piece chicken meal is at P140.  Very reasonable for its taste and quality!

Furthermore, you can find their favorite Korean dishes there as well. They also serves the best-selling japchae (P150), or sweet potato noodles mixed with vegetables, sesame seeds, and slices of chili; and bulgogi (P150), which is marinated beef or chicken.

On the lighter fare, you can try the Popcorn Chicken, Chicken Skin, or Chicken Sandwich. For bigger groups that like sharing, Smoper Chicken has these options: Regular, Large, Family-sized servings.
