Will Ashley has released his debut single, “Paborito,” under StarPop, which serves as the first glimpse of his upcoming album, “Liham.”
The emotionally resonant pop track beautifully encapsulates the thrill of new romance and the deep-seated yearning to protect a love worth fighting for. Adding to its personal nature, “Paborito” was collaboratively penned by Will Ashley himself, breakout singer-songwriter Maki, and StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos, with Santos pulling double duty as the track’s main producer.
Taking to social media to share his excitement, the Kapuso singer-actor extended a warm invitation to his followers: “Excited na akong marinig niyo ang sinulat kong kantang ‘Paborito.’ Sana makasama ko kayo sa September 20 para sa aking album launch.”
Fans can catch the live milestone as Will gears up for his Liham album launch on September 20 (Sunday) at the SM North Edsa Skydome. Tickets are officially on sale through SM Tickets and all SM Tickets physical outlets. Fans can choose from five distinct tiers: ₱4,850 (SVIP), ₱3,800 (VIP 1), ₱3,050 (VIP 2), ₱2,700 (Patron), and ₱1,850 (Gen Ad).
The Sparkle talent’s journey began as a child actor before he shot to mainstream fame on Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition Season 1, finishing the competition as the runner-up or Second Big Placer. Since then, he has consistently impressed audiences with his versatility, starring in films like Love You So Bad and Bar Boys: After School, alongside a notable television performance in the series The Secrets of Hotel 88.
