“Revenant,” a Korean occult mystery thriller, unravels the tale of Gu Sanyeong, a woman who endures a life of hardship, only to be plagued by even greater misfortune when her father’s demise occurs under enigmatic circumstances. As she grapples to comprehend why tragedy shadows her every step, Sanyeong embarks on a journey of discovery when she encounters Yeom Haesang, a man blessed with the ability to perceive the demons that wield influence over our lives. Penned by Kim Eunhee, the mastermind behind renowned Korean series such as “Kingdom,” “Signal,” and “Sign,” “Revenant” is helmed by directors Lee Jeonglim (VIP, The Last Empress) and Kim Jaehong (Blossom Sisters, Blooded Palace). The stellar cast includes Kim Taeri (The Handmaiden, Mr. Sunshine) portraying Gu Sanyeong, a woman haunted by her father’s mysterious demise, and Oh Jungse (It’s Okay to Not Be Okay, When the Camellia Blooms) as Yeom Haesang, a man gifted with the sight to perceive demons.
