iWant recently launched its newest limited horror anthology, “True Manila Encounters,” which premiered its pilot episode on Thursday, October 29. Produced by the award-winning CreaZion Studios, the two-part special dramatizes terrifying, real-life supernatural experiences submitted by residents across Metro Manila.

The mini-series features two distinct, spine-chilling episodes:
• “Undressed” (Premiered October 29): Starring Xyriel Manabat and Karina Bautista, this episode centers on a vengeful spirit attached to a piece of thrifted clothing. Pearl (Bautista), a woman trying to hide her third eye, must confront her worst fears when her coworker Mei-Mei (Manabat) unwittingly purchases a haunted ukay-ukay dress with a gruesome history. The pilot was directed by critically acclaimed filmmaker Rae Red.
• “Occupant” (Premieres November 5): The second installment stars Kaori Oinuma and Elyson de Dios as Ana and Jam, a couple whose long-distance relationship takes a terrifying turn. The haunting manifests during their routine video calls, leaving Jam racing against time to save Ana’s sanity from a relentless entity. This episode is helmed by acclaimed horror director Dodo Dayao.
Both episodes are available exclusively to subscribers on the iWant streaming platform.
Catch its episodes via iWant’s subscription plans starting at P35 per month in the Philippines, USD 12.99 per month in the United States, and USD 4.99 per month in the rest of the world.
