One of my favorite subjects to photograph is fireworks display. When I was in the Middle East, I was able to take photos of the Atlantis Hotel Grand Opening fireworks. The fireworks display lit the whole Palm Jumeirah Island.

While in the Philippines we don’t have big budget fireworks like this, the best fireworks displays in the country happen during the Philippine International Pyromusical Competition. Now on its 3rd year, it is where different countries compete and showcase their fireworks displays. The displays will be held every Saturday from Feb. 11 – Mar. 17, 2012 at the SM Mall of Asia.
