Filipino and Czech businesses have signed a contract to build a smart city

On Monday, April 17, 2023 TESLA Smart Technologies, a Czech company, and Smart Citi Teknologi (SCT), a Filipino firm, signed a memorandum of agreement to create a smart city in the Philippines. The agreement was inked by TESLA CEO Peter Matejcek and SCT CEO Mario Marcos, with Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala present at the signing in Makati City.

According to the arrangement, the two businesses would create a “smart green citi” in Manila, where a technology-based lifestyle and disaster-proof infrastructure are the norm.

The initiative would involve as many Filipino information technology specialists as possible, according to SCT CEO Marcos.

Integration of the internet of things, robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), internet of blockchains, meta verse and quantum computing are effective in improving the economy of the country and the lives of every citizen. Moreover, The SCT is also embarking on a mega project in Roxas, Palawan.

To focus on safer nickel and gold mining and extraction in the Philippines, SCT and the Czech mining company Draslovka signed another deal.
