The groundbreaking Filipino queer dating reality series “Sparks Camp” is turning up the heat for its upcoming fourth season with a spicy new twist called “Momolan.” Launching exclusively on iWantTFC on Wednesday, September 16, this new feature gives contestants total freedom on the island, allowing viewers a front-row seat to their wildest, most passionate, and deeply romantic moments.
More than just a hub for intense romance, Momolan is designed as a private safe space for the campers. It serves as a sanctuary where they can freely express themselves and find a moment of peace away from the show’s mounting drama and tension.
“For the first time this season, they can go inside Momolan and do whatever they want. If they want to express themselves, breathe, and shout, they can freely go inside even when solo,” show director Ted Boborol explained.
Adding to the excitement, this season will also feature unique off-island challenges. The campers will head out on special excursion trips, pushing them out of their comfort zones in hopes of deepening their bonds and discovering true romance.
Tying this all together is show host and “Mother Sparker” Mela Habijan, who shared her immense joy for the upcoming season. She expressed her absolute delight at getting to witness and share a brand-new batch of queer love stories as they unfold on the island.
“Imagine, four seasons of ‘Sparks Camp,’ and now I am a mother of 40 campers! Isang malaking pasasalamat sa universe that we still get to share queer stories and show what queer love is all about,” Mela shared.
The upcoming season features a rich and diverse group of participants, highlighted by unique archetypes. The initial lineup introduces Tommy (“Mr. Explore-Actor”), Ian (“The Drag Queen-Sation”), Taku (“The Japinoy Charmer”), Jury (“The Shy Achiever”), and Michael (“The Babyboy Next Door”).
Rounding out the Sparks Camp Season 4 lineup are five more singles eager to find their perfect match: Joaquin (known as “The Walkin’ Conyo Heartthrob”), Gio (“The Gio-Target Chinito”), and EJ (“The Genz-Incere Lover”). Completing the passionate group are Beej (“The Daddy-Sirable Cutie”) and Howie (“The Fil-Am-Azing Wonderboy”), all hoping to strike a genuine connection on the island.
“Sparks Camp” Season 4 is co-produced by iWantTFC and PlayTime Entertainment. The media venture builds on the momentum of their successful vertical drama series, “Will You Fake Marry Me?”, featuring JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith.
Audiences can expect sparks to fly when the reality series returns.
