Solaire Resort Entertainment City, in partnership with De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB), proudly renews its commitment to education through the Solaire Cares Shining Scholar program—an initiative that grants full college scholarships to children of Solaire Team Members.
The partnership was officially reaffirmed during a contract signing ceremony held at DLS-CSB, attended by key representatives from both institutions. Among them were Robin Serrano, Director of the Center for Partnership Advancement; Angelo Lacson, Vice Chancellor for Academics at DLS-CSB; Sarci Razon, Vice President of HR Strategic Development and Special Projects at Solaire; and Trishia Osorio, Director of HR Strategic Development and Special Projects at Solaire.
Now in its third year, the Solaire Cares Shining Scholar program stands as a testament to the company’s enduring commitment to its employees and their families. The program provides full financial support for a four-year college degree—empowering scholars to pursue their dreams at one of the country’s top universities.
Past scholars include:
- A student from the Security Department family, now studying Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management, Major in Culinary Arts.
- A scholar from the Housekeeping Department family, taking up Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity at the School of Management and Information Technology.
This year, the program welcomes its third scholar, set to begin a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Business Intelligence and Analytics (BSBA-BIA) this August.
“We’re honored to renew this partnership with DLS-CSB,” shared Sarci Razon. “This initiative reflects Solaire’s commitment to our Team Members—not just through recognition of their hard work, but by investing in their children’s future.”
Spearheaded by Solaire Cares, the resort’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm, this initiative continues to open doors to quality education while nurturing dreams and building a brighter future for the next generation.
