For more than two decades, Silent Sanctuary has become the soundtrack to countless Filipino memories—capturing the emotions of first love, heartbreak, healing, longing, and the quiet nostalgia that comes with growing up.

This October, the beloved OPM band reaches another career-defining milestone as it headlines its first-ever major solo arena concert, Gabi ng Lambing, happening on October 25, 2026, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Even before the first note is played, the concert has already made history.
Tickets officially sold out just five hours after they went on sale via SM Tickets on June 25, underscoring the enduring connection Silent Sanctuary has built with generations of Filipino music fans.
A Celebration of 24 Years of Music
Billed as “24 Years of Songs,” Gabi ng Lambing promises to be the band’s biggest and most ambitious live production to date.
The one-night concert will showcase fan-favorite hits, beloved deep cuts, and unforgettable musical moments, all elevated by performances from the Manila Symphony Orchestra, Viva Voce, and a lineup of surprise guest performers.
Following the overwhelming response, the band took to social media to thank fans for making the milestone possible.
“Gusto kong tumalon-tumalon sa saya,” the band shared on its official Facebook page after learning the show had sold out. “See you all on October 25! Gagalingan namin para sulit ang suporta at pagmamahal ninyo. Maraming salamat!”
For vocalist and guitarist Raymund “Sarkie” Sarangay, the sold-out concert represents the fulfillment of a long-held dream.
“This is the peak of our career,” Sarkie said. “Five years ago, we were already wishing and talking about this. It’s perfect timing because time has improved us, and this time, we aim to give fans a good experience.”
Finally Taking Center Stage
While Silent Sanctuary has performed in some of the country’s biggest venues—including the SM Mall of Asia Arena, Smart Araneta Coliseum, and the Philippine Arena—the band has always appeared as a guest act.
Gabi ng Lambing changes that.
For the first time, the spotlight belongs entirely to Silent Sanctuary.
“May mga times na nakakatugtog na rin kami sa big venues like MOA, Araneta, and Philippine Arena, pero as a guest,” Sarkie shared.
“Pero what if this time naman, kami naman ang tutugtog as a band sa ganitong kadaming tao? First time namin ito na around 30 songs, may kasamang orchestra, and puro kanta namin ito. Walang covers.”
Audiences can expect a nearly 30-song setlist featuring only original Silent Sanctuary music, performed with fresh orchestral arrangements that highlight the band’s signature fusion of rock and classical instrumentation.
A New Chapter for the Band
Silent Sanctuary’s current lineup features:
- Raymund “Sarkie” Sarangay – vocals and guitar
- Anjo Inacay – cello
- Allen Calixto – drums
- Kim Mirandilla-Ng – violin
- Ronnie Ropal – bass
- Poch Villalon – synthesizers and backing vocals
For longtime members Sarkie, Anjo, and Allen, the concert celebrates years of perseverance.
For newer members Kim, Ronnie, and Poch, it also marks the beginning of an exciting new era while honoring the sound fans have loved for more than two decades.
“Ang sarap i-celebrate ang lineup na ito,” Anjo shared. “Parang nabigyan kami ng bagong direction with Kim on violin, Ronnie on bass, and Poch on keyboards. We feel like we can do more with our old and new music.”
Bigger, More Cinematic, More Emotional
The landmark concert will be directed by Paolo Valenciano, with Ria Osorio serving as Musical Director.
Fans can expect an elevated concert experience featuring new musical arrangements, a full orchestra, a choir, and a carefully curated setlist spanning Silent Sanctuary’s extensive discography—from timeless chart-topping hits to fan-requested deep cuts rarely performed live.
Known for blending heartfelt songwriting with orchestral instrumentation, the band plans to bring its signature “rockestra” sound to life on a scale never seen before.
A Milestone Beyond Music
Beyond the sold-out concert, Silent Sanctuary is also embracing a new chapter through its partnership with Wrangler Philippines, a collaboration the band describes as both meaningful and affirming.
“Ngayon lang kami nagkaroon ng team na nagtiwala sa amin para gawin ito,” Sarkie shared.
He also expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone helping make Gabi ng Lambing possible, including Wrangler Philippines, TTP Events, Numinous Philippines, Variant Productions, Tala Entertainment, and Universal Records Philippines.
More Than a Concert—A Celebration of Shared Memories
For countless Filipinos, Silent Sanctuary’s songs have become part of life’s defining moments—from classroom sing-alongs and karaoke sessions to first loves, painful breakups, heartfelt reconciliations, marriage proposals, lifelong friendships, and quiet nights of reflection.
Gabi ng Lambing celebrates not only the band’s remarkable 24-year journey but also the millions of personal stories intertwined with its music.
With tickets disappearing in just five hours, one thing is undeniable: Silent Sanctuary’s songs continue to resonate deeply across generations, proving that great music doesn’t simply endure—it becomes part of people’s lives.
Silent Sanctuary’s Gabi ng Lambing takes place on October 25, 2026, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena—a milestone concert that promises to be as unforgettable as the songs that inspired it.
