realme Teases 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition

A color-shifting crest, a Hedwig-inspired camera deco, and a few surprises still under wraps.

Filipino Potterheads, it’s time to keep an eye on your windowsills! The realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition is officially making its way to the Philippines, bringing the Wizarding World to life through a special-edition smartphone that goes far beyond themed wallpapers and accessories.

The magic is immediately evident in its striking exterior. At the back, the iconic Hogwarts Four-House Crest takes center stage against a 3D diamond-pattern leather finish inspired by the legendary wizard chessboard. Under UV light, all four Hogwarts house colors emerge simultaneously through what realme calls its Quadra Light-Sensing Color-changing Tech, a world-first innovation. Completing the magical design is a Hedwig-inspired aluminum alloy camera deco surrounding the lenses, along with a laser-engraved “Welcome to Hogwarts” inscription on the mid-frame. All these intricate details come together in a remarkably slim 8.47mm body.

The Hogwarts experience continues beyond the phone’s exterior and into its software. Upon powering on the device, users are welcomed by a Hogwarts Castle wallpaper and a Harry Potter-inspired boot animation. The magical details extend to a special fingerprint animation featuring flying Hogwarts acceptance letters, along with more than 30 redesigned app icons inspired by the Wizarding World.

Beyond its enchanting design, the smartphone also packs impressive specifications for everyday performance. It features the industry’s first TÜV-certified 200MP LumaColor Camera, a massive 7,000mAh Titan Battery supported by 80W fast charging, and a smooth 144Hz FHD+ AMOLED display. Adding another layer of protection, the device also comes with IP69 Pro Dust & Water Resistance, making it ready to handle everyday challenges beyond the magical world.

Even the unboxing experience is designed to feel like receiving a letter from Hogwarts. The limited-edition gift box takes inspiration from a Hogwarts acceptance kit, complete with a hidden surprise tucked inside that realme is keeping under wraps for now.

The owl is already on its way! Stay tuned for the official unveiling of the realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition, including its Philippine pricing and availability details.
