Prepare for Fallout: Prime Video’s Fallout Series Premieres April 11

Fallout, a gripping series inspired by the beloved video game franchise from Bethesda Game Studios, breathes life into the eerie landscapes of the Wasteland. It probes into profound themes of survival, morality, and resilience amidst the chaos of nuclear devastation. Officially endorsed as part of the Fallout canon by Bethesda’s Todd Howard, the series has undergone rigorous scrutiny to ensure that it remains true to its established universe and earlier releases.

Set in 2296 in post-apocalyptic Los Angeles, the eight-part series follows Lucy (played by Ella Purnell), a resilient dweller of Vault 33 embarking on a perilous quest to rescue her father amidst the treacherous wasteland. Alongside her, viewers will encounter a diverse array of characters, including Maximus (portrayed by Aaron Moten), a valiant soldier of the Brotherhood of Steel, and The Ghoul (brought to life by Walton Goggins), a mutated bounty hunter with a mysterious past entwined with his former life as an actor.

Executive produced by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy of Kilter Films, with Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner serving as co-showrunners, the series marks a collaborative effort between Bethesda Game Studios, Bethesda Softworks, Kilter Films, and Amazon MGM Studios. Beyond catering to gaming aficionados, the show aims to serve as an accessible entry point to the world of Fallout for newcomers. 

All episodes of Fallout will be available on Prime Video on April 11, 2024.
