Fifty, Fortified, and Forging Forward Recognized as One of The Professional Top Awards at Quill

Fresh from its golden anniversary milestone, Ascorbic Acid (Poten-Cee) continues to shine as its campaign #FiftyFortifiedandForgingForward earned a prestigious Excellence Award at the Philippine IABC Quill Awards, held last week at the historic Manila Hotel.

This latest recognition marks the brand’s second major win in a row, following its Silver Anvil Award from the Public Relations Society of the Philippines earlier this year—proving that Poten-Cee’s 50th year was not just a celebration but a powerful communications success.

The award was given for the campaign’s effective execution in reaching both internal and external audiences through diverse communication channels. Scoring higher than 5.75 on IABC’s Global Scale of Excellence, Poten-Cee secured its place among the standout campaigns of the year.

A Campaign that Connected from Within

Launched in early 2024, the #FiftyFortifiedandForgingForward campaign first engaged internal stakeholders, recognizing employees as the brand’s strongest ambassadors. From there, the message reached customers, partners, and even members of the media—many of whom proudly shared their own experiences as Poten-Cee users.

Running from January to December 2024, the campaign maximized ATL, BTL, and digital platforms, generating impressive results in sales, digital performance, PR, and stakeholder engagement—including CSR initiatives. These efforts helped elevate its score even further.

Among the Best of the Best

Out of 918 entries, only 163 won an Excellence Award (58 from the same category). Poten-Cee’s campaign not only secured one of these but also made it to the Professional Top 5 Awards—a testament to its standout strategy, creativity, and impact.
