The first transaction ceremony took place at a private event held at Hilton Tokyo in Shinjuku City, attended by senior executives from OmniPay and Discover. Simoun S. Ung, President & CEO of OmniPay, proudly made the inaugural purchase at Dynasty Restaurant, utilizing the OmniPay Travel Card on the Discover Global Network.
With the introduction of the OmniPay Travel Card, cardholders can now make seamless payments both in-store and online, as well as access cash at popular destinations outside of the Philippines through the extensive network of Discover Global Network, where Discover® and Diners Club International® are accepted. The OmniPay Travel Card not only caters to partners seeking to integrate travel-related benefits for their customers, but also offers additional perks such as airport lounge access, global Wi-Fi, and multicurrency settlement.
