Founded by OPM icon Ely Buendia, the independent label is set to unite a generation-spanning lineup of local artists for this milestone celebration on November 21 at 123 Block in Mandaluyong City.

MANILA, Philippines — Celebrating a monumental milestone, Offshore Music is marking its 10th anniversary with Offshore Music Turns 10: A Decade of Good Noise. Scheduled for November 21, 2026, at 123 Block in Mandaluyong City, the special event honors the independent record label’s decade-long contribution to the OPM landscape. The night promises to bring together an incredible lineup of Filipino artists, fans, and creatives for an evening of live performances and community. Designed around a lively street-style fiesta theme, attendees can look forward to artist booths, interactive activities, and live music that altogether showcase the vibrant subculture at the heart of the label.

The star-studded anniversary lineup features performances from Offshore Music’s current roster of talent, including ena mori, ALYSON, Ligaya Escueta, neytan, Sexy Jay, and Carousel Casualties. Joining the celebration are long-time collaborators and previous partners, such as the indie band Pinkmen, pop-rock visionaries the Itchyworms, and Apartel—the very funk-jazz fusion band that originally inspired the creation of the label. Additional event announcements and ticketing details will be shared through Offshore Music’s official social channels in the coming weeks.

“The roster speaks for itself,” says Ely Buendia, founder and chief executive officer of Offshore Music. “It’s a testament to how well we’ve curated Offshore’s catalog and how well we’ve been able to practice our philosophy. In the end, we want to celebrate by doing what we do best: play music.”

Established in 2016, Offshore Music originally launched as a creative, independent sanctuary for the band Apartel. Founders Ely Buendia and Pat Sarabia sought greater autonomy to produce and release music strictly on their own terms. What began as a venture for a single act has since evolved into a highly respected independent label, now boasting a diverse roster of over 20 artists spanning multiple genres. Today, with General Manager Audry Dionisio joining Buendia and Sarabia at the helm, the label has solidified its reputation through artist-first partnerships, creative integrity, and a steadfast commitment to championing music that defies mainstream commercial expectations.

For Dionisio, this milestone celebration is deeply rooted in honoring the creative bonds the label has cultivated over the past decade. She notes that the anniversary acts as a bridge between Offshore Music’s foundational roots and its future evolution. “This lineup represents different chapters of Offshore’s ten-year journey. We have artists and collaborators who’ve been with us since the early days, alongside newer acts who represent where the label is today and where it is headed,” she says. “More than anything, it’s a celebration of the music, friendships, and relationships we’ve built over the years.”

This milestone tenth year follows a monumental period for Offshore Music, marked by deep reflection on its rich history and a clear vision for the future. Throughout the year, the label rolled out a comprehensive, five-part Offshore Music PH 10th Anniversary Docuseries on YouTube. Utilizing a mix of archival footage, raw interviews, artist testimonials, and candid behind-the-scenes moments, the series chronicles the label’s origins, its unique approach to artist development, pivotal business milestones, and the tight-knit creative community it has nurtured.

The label’s recent slate of releases further underscores its dedication to safeguarding the legacy of OPM while staying true to its artist-first principles. Highlighting its modern roster, this past year saw the release of ena mori’s critically acclaimed six-track EP Ore—which delves into themes of independence and self-discovery—as well as ALYSON’s highly praised sophomore album, AFTER OURS. Offshore Music also backed Ely Buendia’s recent solo endeavors, including “Ate,” his standout collaborative track with producer Shadiel Chan, and his solo record Method Adaptor, which received full physical releases on vinyl, CD, and cassette formats. Additionally, the label continues to elevate the standard for OPM archival preservation, spearheading the highly anticipated vinyl pressing of the Eraserheads’ seasonal classic Fruitcake alongside official repressings of the iconic Ultraelectromagneticpop!.

“Offshore Music started as a creative space for artists to make music freely, without being boxed in,” Dionisio explains. “A lot has changed in terms of how we operate, but the idea remains the same: to support good music, encourage individuality, and help artists grow while staying true to who they are.”

Ten years into its journey, Offshore Music continues to prove that independence is far more than just a business framework—it is a steadfast commitment to the individuals and creative philosophies that give music its meaning. Backed by a dedicated ten-person team carrying forward its foundational ethos, the label’s milestone anniversary not only celebrates its rich history but also firmly anchors the groundbreaking work it will continue to pursue for years to come.

“We really just wanted to see if there was something we could learn or do by handling our own music,” Buendia reflects. “And then as time went by, we discovered that we could actually be a real place where artists can flourish.”
