Women Take Center Stage at GNN’s Lilet Fair
Women in music and the creative scene are set to shine this March as GNN presents Lilet Fair, a multi-format festival celebrating female talent across entertainment and the arts. The event draws inspiration from Lilith Fair, a landmark women-led music festival that championed female artists in the 1990s.

Lilet Fair highlights women performers and the people working behind the scenes in the entertainment industry.
Organizers said the festival aims to address challenges faced by women in creative fields, including discrimination, pay inequality, and limited leadership opportunities.
“The number of women behind the scenes remains relatively low,” said Marie Lara Pauline Bobier, events director of GNN.
“While the music community is generally welcoming, women still need to constantly prove their credibility. This festival celebrates female creatives, fans, and advocates who support the local music scene.”
Star-Studded Performance Lineup
The festival features some of the most respected voices in the local music scene. Pop-rock icon Barbie Almalbis leads the roster with her signature introspective songwriting and guitar-driven sound. Joining her are indie-pop artists Clara Benin and syd hartha, along with OPM pop singer Janine Berdin. The lineup also includes August Wahh, Coeli, and Shanne Dandan.

The festival expands beyond music to feature other art forms.
Improv comedy and music duo A II Z will bring their unique stage chemistry. All-female comedy group Lady Boses—composed of Jeannie Lacay, Di Aaron, and Khaye Asco—will promote greater representation of women in comedy.
Drag performers M1SS Jade So and Inah Demons will also perform.
Creative Booths and Panel Discussion
Lilet Fair will feature women-run creative booths, including Drafts Gift Shop (flowers), FiliFerniana (live art photobooth), Maan Simbajon (tattoo services), and Putik Friends (ceramics).
The festival will also host a panel discussion titled “She Means Business: Women Paving The Way.”
Speakers include Alex Majam of Jess & Pat’s, EMI Records Philippines label head Bel Certeza, Over October manager Katrina Romero, music photographer and Neon Oven founder Kris Rocha, and Funky Beat Entertainment head Ziera De Veyra.
