The League of Corporate Foundations (LCF) is calling on the corporate sector to weave Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity (DEI) into their core business strategies and corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts. To help spark this transformation, LCF is launching the 2025 CSR Conference and Expo—a dynamic platform where corporate leaders can collaborate, innovate, and drive sustainable growth.

🗓️ The Conference will take place from July 1 to 3 at Dusit Thani Manila, while the Expo will be held from July 1 to 2 at Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City.
This year’s theme, “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity for Shared Prosperity,” emphasizes the critical role of businesses in driving inclusive growth and sustainable development. By integrating DEI into their DNA, companies can spark systemic change and create lasting impact for communities.
“Integrating DEI into business strategies is not just about corporate responsibility—it’s about leadership,” said Shem Jose Garcia, LCF Chairperson and Executive Director of Vivant Foundation, Inc. “Companies that prioritize inclusivity open doors to innovation, opportunity, and long-term sustainability, particularly for often underrepresented sectors such as women, senior citizens, indigenous communities, persons with disabilities, and people of varying beliefs and faiths.”
Fueling Inclusive Growth Through Collaboration
According to McKinsey & Company, businesses that embed DEI into purpose-led strategies see stronger leadership, innovation, and long-term success. Supporting this, a Boston Consulting Group study shows that 43% of Southeast Asian firms—including those in the Philippines—now implement diversity programs, up from 36% in 2020.
The 2025 CSR Conference and Expo will feature insightful panel discussions, networking opportunities, and actionable strategies that organizations can adopt to build more inclusive, socially responsible business practices.
Recognizing CSR Excellence
The event will also shine a spotlight on exceptional CSR work through the 2025 Guild Awards, honoring member initiatives that have created significant community impact. Additionally, the Medal of Recognition will be awarded to non-LCF members for outstanding contributions across seven key areas: Arts and Culture, Disaster Resilience, Education, Environment, Enterprise Development, Financial Inclusion, and Health.
Showcasing Innovations that Uplift Communities
The CSR Expo will feature projects and innovations that demonstrate how integrating DEI into company strategies leads to positive transformation in partner communities. This gathering will unite companies, NGOs, academic institutions, youth groups, and government agencies to foster greater collaboration.
A key highlight of the Expo is LCF’s flagship program, LIFE (LCF’s Initiative for Food Security, Nutrition, and Empowerment)—an integrated approach that combines nutrition, livelihood, and capacity-building to tackle child malnutrition. Aligned with the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN), the program begins in Basilan and aims to scale across provinces.
