Kapamilya R&B balladeer Jason Dy celebrates a major milestone this year as he marks a decade in the music industry. As part of the celebration, the “Prince of Soul” has officially renewed his contract with ABS-CBN’s Star Music, with a brand-new album and a solo anniversary concert on the way.

“Maraming salamat, Star Music, for this renewal of trust. I’m so excited to create more music with you guys,” shared the The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 grand winner during the contract signing held at the ABS-CBN Dolphy Theater. “I’m very excited for everything we’re releasing this year and in the years to come.”
Jason is set to headline his anniversary concert, “SoliDYfied: A Decade of Jason Dy,” on June 27 (Friday) at the Newport Performing Arts Theater. The concert will also mark the release of his upcoming album of the same name—a collection of songs that captures highlights from his ten-year musical journey. The show will be directed by John Prats.

“I’ve already reached out to designers and shared my concepts. The clothes need to match the songs—expect something shiny, sparkly, and unique,” Jason teased.
Joining him on stage as special guests and co-producers are fellow artists and close friends KZ Tandingan and Yeng Constantino, in partnership with Cornerstone Concerts.

According to Jonathan Manalo, ABS-CBN Music’s creatives, content, and operations head, Jason’s new album will be a walk down memory lane for his fans.
“Jason’s anniversary album is already in the works and will serve as a celebration of his 10-year career. All the songs you’ve loved hearing from Jason through the years—you’ll hear them in this new release,” Manalo said during the signing.
Also present at the contract signing were Star Music label head Andie Arellano and Cornerstone Entertainment VP Jeffrey Vadillo, who joined Jason in celebrating this career milestone.
Throughout the past decade, Jason has made his mark as a soul-driven artist. A staple in ASAP, he has lent his voice to numerous Himig Handog and PhilPop entries and released hits such as “Ulit-Ulit” and “Magsabi Ka Lang.”
