IV OF SPADES Embraces the Unexpected in New Single “Rollercoaster”

Reggae rhythms, indie-rock energy, and Manila Sound collide on the quartet’s colorful new offering.

Following a massive sweep at the 2026 Awit Awards—where they clinched Album of the Year and Song of the Year—and a big win for Alternative Song of the Year at the Filipino Music Awards, IV OF SPADES is back. The Filipino band has officially released their latest single, “Rollercoaster,” a track that dives into the thrilling freedom of living in the moment and letting go of control.

The new single arrives as the band travels for their US/Canada tour, showcasing a kaleidoscopic blend of new influences that seamlessly fits alongside their distinct, established style.

Steering clear of typical mainstream formulas, “Rollercoaster” delivers a spirited, groove-heavy experience with a distinct psychedelic edge. The track seamlessly blends a reggae rhythm with indie rock and nostalgic Manila Sound textures, creating a relaxed yet highly infectious summer anthem.

Sonically, the single mirrors a spontaneous road trip, evoking a sense of pure freedom and unscripted movement. It is a laid-back, lifestyle anthem that easily fits into late-night social gatherings, encouraging listeners to completely embrace the thrill of the present moment.

“Rollercoaster” arrives as the band’s second release of 2026, hot on the heels of last month’s “Isang Pag-ibig.” Originally uploaded to SoundCloud back in 2015, “Isang Pag-ibig” was officially reworked for a 2026 launch and has already pulled in over three million streams, peaking at No. 18 on YouTube Music’s Trending chart.

IV OF SPADES’ “Rollercoaster” is out now on all digital music platforms worldwide via Sony Music Entertainment.
