The Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors (SPEEd) officially announced the nominees for the 8th EDDYS on July 1, celebrating excellence across Philippine cinema—from standout actors and directors to visionary producers and creative teams shaping the industry’s future.
Among this year’s most recognized films is “Isang Himala” by CreaZion Studios, UXS, and Kapitol Films, which originally premiered at the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) and has since earned critical acclaim. The film—already a recipient of MMFF honors including Fourth Best Picture, Special Jury Prize, Best Supporting Actress (Kakki Teodoro), Best Original Theme Song, and Best Musical Score (Vincent de Jesus)—secured seven major EDDYS nominations:
