Invisible Tech. Infinite Style. Redefining the Heart of the Filipino Home

The launch of InvisaCook, a concealed induction cooktop seamlessly integrated beneath the countertop, marks a bold new era in high-end kitchen design. By eliminating the visual disruption of traditional hobs, InvisaCook answers the growing demand for sleek, uninterrupted surfaces—perfect for luxury residences and commercial spaces alike. Exclusively distributed by Haig & Lee, the device is showcased in a custom worktop designed by Spanish designer Luis Castillo of Linea Casa, merging innovation with artistic flair.

“Designers have long struggled with the eyesore of a visible hob,” notes Alvin Lim, General Manager of Haig & Lee. “With InvisaCook—a truly invisible induction cooktop—and the Filipino penchant for seamless, Instagram-ready interiors, we recognized this as the kitchen technology of the future.”

Hidden Power, Full Functionality

InvisaCook operates on the same induction principle as conventional cooktops: an electromagnetic field vibrates electrons in magnetic cookware, heating it directly. What sets InvisaCook apart is that this field is generated from a compact unit beneath the countertop, leaving the surface pristine. “Sintered stone works perfectly—it’s durable, non-ferrous, and lets the magnetic field pass without loss,” Lim explains.

Unlike traditional hobs, InvisaCook doesn’t compromise performance. It offers precise temperature control, flexible burner layouts—from single-zone to five-zone configurations—and wireless operation via a dedicated app. “You can control the hob from your tablet or phone. With InvisaCook, you get high-performance cooking without sacrificing design,” Lim adds.

Design Freedom Unlocked

For interior architect Luis Castillo, InvisaCook is more than a gadget—it’s a design catalyst. “Hiding the cooktop lets countertops become pure design elements. It allows us to integrate form and function seamlessly, creating unique spaces,” Castillo shares. The installation process is swift: once the slab and electrical setup are ready, the unit slides in and is connected in 1–2 hours, with precision ensured at every step.

Castillo highlights its impact in compact living spaces: “Especially in condominiums, the invisible cooktop creates a seamless, functional, and beautiful kitchen. Open-plan designs now feel expansive and luxurious.”

Safety, Efficiency, and Eco-Friendly Design

Beyond aesthetics, InvisaCook outperforms conventional gas ranges in safety. The hob activates only with compatible cookware and includes foreign-object detection with visual and audio alerts. Surface-temperature monitoring prevents overheating, ensuring worry-free cooking.

InvisaCook is also energy-efficient, boasting up to 90% thermal efficiency. Water boils up to 50% faster than gas, indoor emissions are minimized, and HVAC loads are reduced—making it both a high-performance and environmentally conscious choice.

The system launches in five models, each offering different burner layouts while maintaining a temperature range of 97 °F (36 °C) to 400 °F (205 °C). Its modular design caters to minimalist condos, family kitchens, or flagship restaurant setups. A 3-year warranty gives added peace of mind for those embracing this innovative technology.

A Vision for the Future

Lim envisions InvisaCook bridging technology and tradition: “Filipino homes celebrate hospitality. With InvisaCook, kitchens stay warm and inviting without the clutter of a stovetop.” Castillo adds, “When the cooking surface disappears, social spaces expand—kitchen and dining areas merge seamlessly for entertaining without distractions.”

With design trends evolving rapidly and luxury buyers seeking both beauty and functionality, InvisaCook sets a new benchmark for high-end kitchens. Haig & Lee plans to integrate InvisaCook into smart homes and showcase mobile buffet counters at the upcoming Linea Casa showroom in Bridgetowne, Pasig City.
