“Incognito” continues to raise the bar for Filipino action dramas as its cast shares how they powered through extreme conditions—from the sweltering heat of Itogon, Benguet to the fierce snowstorms of Yamagata, Japan—during the show’s midseason media conference held Monday (April 7).

Richard Gutierrez, who portrays JB Bonifacio, recalled the grueling two-week shoot in Japan:
“It was extremely cold—snow every day. We experienced a legit snowstorm, and it really tested all of us. But we powered through it together, as one unit. After that, it felt like we could take on anything, anywhere,” he said.

Daniel Padilla, who plays Andres Malvar, emphasized the stark contrast in filming locations.
“We went from intense heat to freezing cold. It was tough, but definitely worth it. I’m proud to be part of this project,” he shared. Daniel’s gripping performance as Andres, who is on a mission to find his missing brother Jun, continues to resonate with viewers.
“This genre really pushes me—I didn’t know I could go this far. But I did,” he added.

In the newly released midseason trailer, the Kontraks are tasked with capturing Kenji Lee, a key player in an organized crime syndicate. The mission sends them to fictional Nihon, Japan, where they confront brutal Japanese enemies in icy, hand-to-hand combat. As the action escalates, Andres uncovers a new lead on Jun’s mysterious disappearance.

Creative Manager Jay Fernando expressed his excitement over the audience’s response:
“I’m happy that people are not just hooked on the action, but also deeply invested in the personal journeys of the characters.” He added that the Japan mission would shed light on the secrets surrounding key figures like El Cano and Raven.

Ian Veneracion (Greg Paterno) said his character remains an enigma even to him.
“As the story unfolds, I learn more about who Greg really is,” he noted. Meanwhile, Baron Geisler (Miguel Tecson) shared that the role has become second nature:
“Miguel is already in my system—I can easily switch into character.”

Kaila Estrada, who plays Max Alvero, expressed pride in portraying a strong, compassionate woman, calling her character a “symbol of empowerment.”
Maris Racal (Gab Rivera) and Anthony Jennings (Tomas Guerrero) also thanked fans for the unwavering support that has made “Incognito” one of the most-watched shows on both Netflix Philippines and iWantTFC since its January premiere.

Will the Kontraks survive their most dangerous mission yet? Or will the bitter cold of Nihon bring their journey to a chilling end?
