Alternative rock band monopolice cranks up the intensity with their latest single “Hunter,” released on July 4 across all major streaming platforms and available for digital download via Bandcamp.

A searing blend of raw emotion and sonic precision, “Hunter” explores the consuming tension of a love story through the lens of alternative rock, echoing the power and atmosphere of genre icons Muse and Deftones. The track marks a bold step forward for monopolice, showcasing their evolving artistry and their unrelenting drive for musical precision.
“We hit as hard as we can and as straightforward as we can with ‘Hunter’,” shares frontman and primary songwriter Miguel Granada, describing it as their most vocally demanding and technically refined release to date.
“I had to re-cut the vocals probably over twenty times to get it to a level we were happy with,” Granada reveals. “Everything in this song has its own unique color of distortion—carefully engineered to capture the calculated focus of a predator.”
The release of “Hunter” paves the way for monopolice’s much-awaited debut album, El Elefante, dropping July 18. The album features previously released tracks like their debut “A Fine Day For A Swim”, as well as “Perfume” and “Legion”, plus six brand-new tracks that expand the band’s already rich sonic palette.
“If you’ve enjoyed the different styles and moods we’ve explored so far, there’s still more to uncover in El Elefante,” promises Granada.

Song Lyrics
Fear
Do you feed on fear
The fear that you stir
In the minds of the hunted?
Life
Oh what a life
Don’t you deny
Me the ending
Thrill
What a way to feel
A slip of the will
So intoxicating
Speed
An astounding feat
Can’t admit defeat
My perfect enemy
So is this the end?
Ah it’s so beautiful
Is this the end?
Ah it’s so beautiful
Fear
Do you feed on fear
The fear that you stir
In the minds of the hunted?
Life
Oh what a life
Don’t you deny
Me the ending
