AirAsia Philippines is leading the charge in boosting domestic tourism this January, as the country comes alive with its vibrant festivals in Cebu, Iloilo, and Kalibo. With the Sinulog, Dinagyang, and Ati-atihan celebrations in full swing, there’s no better time to travel and experience the Philippines’ rich cultural heritage.

To make it even easier for Filipinos to join in on these exciting festivities, the World’s Best Low-Cost Airline is launching the AirAsia Fiesta Sale. This sale offers one-way base fares starting at just ₱115 to select domestic destinations, available until January 25, 2026. The travel period spans from January 12 to November 30, 2026, allowing plenty of time for travelers to plan their trips and be part of the country’s most anticipated cultural celebrations or future travel adventures.
“AirAsia Philippines is proud to contribute to the growth of domestic tourism, especially during the iconic fiestas that showcase our vibrant culture. These events not only celebrate our heritage but also stimulate local economies and provide unforgettable experiences for our guests. We are thrilled to be part of making these moments even more memorable,” said AirAsia Philippines President and CEO Capt. Suresh Bangah.
In Cebu, AirAsia is enhancing its connectivity by launching two new international routes and three additional domestic routes. This expansion supports the Cebu provincial government’s Balik Cebu Program, aimed at boosting tourist arrivals. According to the Department of Tourism (DOT) Region 7, tourist arrivals are expected to reach 400,000 this January alone.
