10 Tracks Set to Drop This Monday for the First-Ever Eurovision Asia PH Selection

Mark your calendars as the “Pili, Pinas!” national selection broadcast is set to air on Sunday, August 30, to determine the country’s official representative.

This coming Monday, August 17, ABS-CBN will officially drop the 10 song entries competing in the national selection to determine the Philippines’ official representative for Eurovision Asia 2026.

The search for the country’s representative officially comes to a head on Sunday, August 30, with the broadcast of “Pili, Pinas: The Philippine Selection Night.” 

Organized by the European Broadcasting Union, the iconic Eurovision Song Contest is a long-standing annual international television music competition. Its highly anticipated inaugural Asian edition is scheduled to take place on November 14 in Bangkok, Thailand, with media giant ABS-CBN serving as the official broadcast partner for the Philippine contingent. 

The roster of contenders features a stellar mix of songwriters and artists, including Jungee Marcelo’s “Between Bituin” (performed by DNA) and Angelo Gonzales’ “Broken Beyond Repair” (interpreted by SAGA). Adding to the competitive lineup is “Cheri(e),” a track composed by Nar Cabico and performed as a group number with Elha Nympha, Esang de Torres, and Lance Reblando, as well as the Jason Marvin Hernandez composition “Di ‘Yan (Red Flag),” featuring vocals from Jason Dy and Sassa Dagdag. 

Joining the competitive lineup is “Good For You,” a track penned by Hazel Faith and brought to life by the soulful vocals of Ryssi Avila. The list continues with “Make It Exist,” composed by Angelo Calucin and delivered by the rising group AJAA. Rounding out this batch is “Mapadama,” a collaborative composition by Jungee Marcelo and Jeremy Glinoga, beautifully interpreted by the vocal duo JM dela Cerna and Marielle Montellano. 

Completing the official roster of contenders is “Reason to Leave,” a track written by Stephen Tan and brought to life by the powerful vocals of KHIMO. Fans can also look forward to “Round N’ Round,” an energetic collaboration composed by Julius James de Belen and John Michael Conchada, and performed together by Vvink and WRIVE Russu. Rounding out the final slots is “Sobra-Sobra,” a compelling track penned by hitmakers Nica del Rosario and Mat Olavides, and interpreted by Carmelle.
