New compact document scanners streamline business workflows with high-speed scanning, versatile media handling, and eco-conscious design.

Epson, the No. 1 document scanner brand in Southeast Asia, has introduced its latest A4 document scanners, the WorkForce DS-1730 and DS-1760WN, designed to meet the evolving demands of today’s digital-driven workplaces. Compact yet powerful, these new models deliver fast, flexible, and sustainable scanning solutions that enhance productivity without compromising ease of use.

Fast, Flexible, and Reliable Performance

Engineered for efficiency, the DS-1730 and DS-1760WN offer speeds of up to 30 pages per minute with the automatic document feeder (ADF) and can scan a page on the flatbed in as little as 7 seconds. With a 60-sheet ADF, high-volume scanning becomes seamless, while the integrated flatbed makes it possible to digitize fragile or thick items like photos, ID cards, and booklets.

Both models are equipped with one-pass duplex scanning, text enhancement for sharper clarity, document edge correction, and punch-hole removal — ensuring professional-grade results with every scan. A continuous scanning feature even allows users to combine outputs from both ADF and flatbed into a single file, boosting versatility and efficiency.

Smarter Document Management

To streamline workflows, the scanners support Document Capture Pro, which lets users automate up to 30 customizable scan jobs, convert files into searchable PDFs or editable Office documents using OCR, and send scans directly to email, network folders, or cloud storage services. Advanced job separation, barcode recognition, MRZ recognition, and flexible file naming options further enhance productivity.

Exclusive to the DS-1760WN, Epson’s ScanWay technology enables PC-less operation, allowing direct scanning to USB drives, network folders, email, or the cloud via its intuitive control panel and 2.4-inch LCD touchscreen.

Built with Users and the Environment in Mind

Epson continues to champion eco-conscious innovation. The new scanners are made with up to 30% recycled plastic, offering businesses a sustainable choice without sacrificing performance. Meanwhile, image sensor glass dirt detection helps maintain top scan quality by alerting users to potential issues, minimizing the need for re-scans.

Commitment to Innovation

“At Epson, we recognize that businesses need solutions that go beyond speed — they also require reliability, flexibility, and sustainability,” said Noelle Gonzalez, Head of Marketing at Epson Philippines Corporation (EPC). “The WorkForce DS-1730 and DS-1760WN embody this commitment, giving organizations smarter ways to digitize documents, simplify workflows, and reduce their environmental footprint.”

The Epson WorkForce DS-1730 and DS-1760WN are now available through Epson’s network of authorized dealers nationwide.
