Enhypen (엔하이픈) Launches Their First Full Studio Album: ‘Dimension: Dilemma’

The Korean rookie boy group, Enhypen will launch their first full studio album: ‘Dimension: Dilemma’ with ‘Tamed-Dashed’ serving as their title track, this October 12, 2021 at 6:00PM KST (5:00PM PST) as their second comeback after ‘Border: Carnival’ last April 2021.

According to BE:LIFT LAB, the story of Dimension: Dilemma tells about the boys entering the introductory and dimensional world where their various values are conflicting, and for the first time they’re acknowledging their greed, making them start to feel the identity confusion and falling into dilemma, but they won’t stop to move forward and improve.

The Title Track: ‘Tamed-Dashed’ is a song that tackles the questions: “Will you be tamed by craving?” and “Will you be dashed away from your cravings”?

This continues the story of the boys who feel confused and anxious while experiencing collisions and various cravings in a dilemma where one is unsure of what kind of craving to listen to in a complicated world. ‘Tamed-Dashed’ is said to have a 1980 vibe.

The said album comes with three concepts: SYCLLA, CHARYBDIS, and ODYSSEUS and will contain 8 tracks: Intro: Whiteout, Tamed-Dashed, Uppers Side Dreamin’, I Didnt Know (물랐어), Go Big or Go Home (모 아니면 도), Blockbuster (액션 영화처럼) featuring Yeonjun of TOMORROW X TOGETHER, Attention, please! and Interlude: Question

Explaining more about the album, BE:LIFT stated that the intro track, ‘Intro: Whiteout’ is an Electro Funk genre track with the harmonization of old school and modern vibes.

‘Upper Side Dreamin'” will be an EDM genre song with a bound of disco and tech house and ‘Go Big or Go Home (모 아니면 도)’ an acoustic easy-listening song that will show Enhypen’s grown-up or mature side.

The company also stated that the song, Blockbuster (액션 영화처럼) will be receiving a lot of talks with the participation of a HYBE label senior, TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s Yeonjun. This song is a pop rock track with rap and hybrid hip-hop genre. ‘Attention, please!’ will be a track that marks the album’s ending ‘Interlude: Question’.

This album is produced by Producer Wonderkid and Bang Si-hyuk (“hitman” bang).

Other than the original version of the 3-set album, Enhypen will also release an Essential Version of the album that is especially for Engenes, fans of the boy group. Both versions of the albums are out for pre-order!
