Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing, Palm Take-off & Landing and Gesture Control combine for the ultimate beginner drone
DJI, the global leader in civilian drones and creative camera technology, has officially unveiled the Neo 2 — its lightest and most compact drone yet, launched on November 6, 2025. Weighing just 151g, the Neo 2 packs powerful new features, including omnidirectional obstacle sensing, gesture control, SelfieShot, and an upgraded ActiveTrack for effortless low-altitude follow shooting during activities like running or cycling.
Easy to fly even for beginners, the Neo 2 is built for family adventures, outdoor sports, travel, and FPV enthusiasts — always ready to capture life’s best moments as your personal follow-me camera drone.
Master Content Capture in a Couple of Clicks
Designed for simplicity, the Neo 2 introduces a built-in mini display beside its camera, showing your current shooting mode at a glance. With Palm Take-Off, you can launch the drone by pointing it toward yourself and pressing the take-off button. When you’re done shooting, the Return-to-Palm feature brings the drone back to your hand for a safe, precise landing — making every flight seamless and stress-free.
Gesture and Voice Control: Fly Without Limits
Neo 2 redefines intuitive flying with Gesture Control, letting you control direction and distance using one or both hands. Move your palms to guide it, and Neo 2 will respond with remarkable precision — no remote needed.
It also supports voice commands, allowing you to fly hands-free using your smartphone or Bluetooth headphones. For extended range, pair it with the DJI RC-N3 remote controller and enjoy up to 10 km of video transmission.
For those seeking a more immersive flight, Neo 2 is compatible with DJI motion controllers and FPV goggles, offering multiple ways to control and experience flight.
Smart Capture, Stunning Clarity
Powered by a 12MP 1/2-inch CMOS sensor and an f/2.2 lens, Neo 2 delivers crisp, low-noise footage stabilized by a new 2-axis gimbal. With 4K recording up to 100fps, slow motion, and 2.7K vertical video, every clip comes out cinematic and sharp.
Enhanced ActiveTrack ensures smoother, more stable subject tracking at speeds of up to 12 m/s. With eight-direction tracking, the drone produces natural, dynamic shots while maintaining focus — perfect for creative storytelling.
For easy group or solo captures, SelfieShot automatically adjusts framing between waist-up, full-body, and wide shots — no tripod or extra gear needed.
Creative Freedom, Effortless Shooting
Neo 2 makes pro-level shots simple with Dolly Zoom, QuickShots, and MasterShots:
- Dolly Zoom: Recreates the classic cinematic “Hitchcock effect.”
- QuickShots: Includes Dronie, Circle, Rocket, Spotlight, Helix, and Boomerang for dynamic follow shots.
- MasterShots: Automatically composes, edits, and adds music for instantly shareable videos.
Safe, Confident Flying for Everyone
The Neo 2 combines a monocular vision system, forward-facing LiDAR, and downward infrared sensors for real-time obstacle detection. Its integrated propeller guards and enhanced positioning make it beginner-friendly, even when flying indoors or in complex environments like near buildings, water, or snow.
Effortless Creation and Sharing
With Level 5 wind resistance, a 19-minute flight time, and 49GB internal storage, Neo 2 can store up to 241 minutes of full HD video. Transferring your footage is just as easy — connect via Wi-Fi to the DJI Fly App and transfer at speeds up to 80 MB/s, ready for quick post-production and sharing.
Your Pocket-Sized Creative Partner
Compact, intelligent, and powerful — the DJI Neo 2 redefines what a mini drone can do. Whether you’re a content creator, traveler, or first-time flyer, Neo 2 makes capturing stunning moments effortless, safe, and fun.
