DITO Telecommunity continues to make its mark as a rising force in the Philippine telecom industry, earning two major accolades at the Asian Telecom Awards 2026: AI Initiative of the Year – Philippines for its intelligent virtual assistant KAi, and Cybersecurity Initiative of the Year – Philippines for its nationwide safety campaign, Secured Tayo DITO.

At the center of DITO’s AI recognition is KAi, an in-house developed virtual assistant designed to streamline customer support. Integrated across the DITO App, eShop, and Facebook Messenger, KAi enables users to resolve common concerns—such as balance checks and account requests—without waiting for a live agent.
Since its rollout in July 2025, KAi has demonstrated remarkable efficiency, independently resolving up to 97–98% of customer inquiries. The result is faster service, seamless transactions, and a more responsive digital experience for users.
Strengthening Digital Safety Nationwide
On the cybersecurity front, Secured Tayo DITO has been recognized for its sustained efforts to make online safety more accessible and actionable. Launched in 2022, the program delivers clear, easy-to-understand guidance on fraud prevention, phishing, and responsible digital behavior through in-app alerts, official channels, and social media.
Over time, the initiative has driven measurable impact—boosting awareness, improving user sentiment, and contributing to a decline in scam and phishing incidents among subscribers. It reflects a growing culture of vigilance and informed digital habits within the DITO community.
