For 30 years, Clara Olé has been a trusted kitchen companion for Filipino home cooks who crave both ease and creativity. This World Pasta Month, the beloved brand continues to bring excitement to every kitchen—helping food lovers sauce up their favorite pasta dishes and turn them into flavorful, restaurant-worthy creations.

To mark the occasion, Clara Olé twirled its way into a special tasting event that celebrated the joy of pasta and the power of creative pairings. The event, held at Brutal by Wadoughs, featured five inventive pasta-and-drink duos curated by celebrity chef and longtime collaborator Wado Siman. The tasting highlighted how Clara Olé’s versatile pasta sauces can easily transform familiar favorites into elevated gourmet experiences.
From palate-pleasing starters to reimagined Filipino classics, every course—and every sip—proved that when it comes to flavor and fun, Clara Olé really is #OleYouNeed!
A Feast of Pasta and Pairings
The menu opened with Majaroni Salad, a zesty twist on the Filipino party staple made richer with Clara Olé Bechamel Sauce, paired with a refreshing Peach Mango Butterfly Pea drink crafted using Clara Olé Peach Mango Spread—a sweet and tart balance that brightened every bite.
Next came the Viet Kung Pao Canape, where angel hair pasta tossed in Clara Olé Kung Pao Pasta Sauce replaced traditional vermicelli, served alongside a fruity Cranberry Sangria bursting with freshness.
The savory journey continued with Jajangmyeon Grilled Cheese, a comfort-food revelation rich with gooey cheese and the deep, smoky notes of Clara Olé Pasta Negra Sauce, best enjoyed with the crisp, citrusy Apple Calamansi Ale.
Taking Filipino fusion to new heights, the Bagnet Penne Kare-Kare featured spinach and edamame, parmesan-peanut streusel, crispy bagnet, and bagoong reborn as a tuille—all tied together with Clara Olé Crab Flavor Pasta Sauce. A hearty dish like this found its perfect match in a classic Samalamig Cooler.
For dessert, the spotlight turned to golden Bowtie Churros made with San Remo Bowties, dusted with McCormick Cinnamon Sugar, and paired with Tastesetters Caramel Sauce and Cream Cheese. Completing the experience was Hot Cho-CO, both a comforting chocolate dip and drink in one.
