TuneCore’s Curated Stage: Unearthing Hidden Gems

This year, TuneCore takes center stage as a major partner, handpicking six acts through a four-month, five-country selection process. With over 600 submissions, biweekly showcases, and national finals, the result is a lineup filled with raw authenticity and genre-bending creativity.

Cyrus Chen, Head of TuneCore Southeast Asia, shared:

“The depth of undiscovered talent surprised us. We found remarkable hidden gems, many of whom hadn’t even released music yet. Our focus was on authenticity—artists whose music embodies their culture while pushing boundaries.”

Beyond curation, TuneCore is committed to creating real-world opportunities—from live festival exposure to workshops, masterclasses, and cross-border connections.

The Orchard x AXEAN: A Global Stage for Southeast Asia

AXEAN Festival also welcomes a new partner, The Orchard, one of the world’s leading music distribution companies. Together, they aim to break barriers for Southeast Asian artists, helping them find audiences far beyond their home markets.

Prahlad Prabhas, Senior Director of The Orchard Southeast Asia, said:

“This collaboration is about more than just music—it’s about celebrating the creativity and energy of Southeast Asia, and sharing it with the world.”
