After a successful leg in Davao (April 6) and Cebu (May 4), the first edition of EastWest Dream Run is down to its last stop this year—Manila Leg on June 15, at Filinvest City, Alabang!

EastWest Head of Marketing Martin Reyes emphasized that this final leg is significantly intended to happen in Manila—”a place that is part of our [EastWest’s] story.”

The turnout in Davao and Cebu appeared to have more than 6,000 runners because of loved ones who even came for support.

It was not just a running event but more like of a family gathering that brought individuals together, sharing the same purpose and goal, may it be for a more active lifestyle or checking off a bucket list.

“It was about community, bonding, [and] about spending time together,” Reyes added.

Same race categories and guidelines are observed for this three-dream-city series:

  • 1K Dog Run for furparents and their furbabies
  • 2K Kids Run for young ones and families
  • 5K, 10K, and 30K for casual joggers, those running for a new personal achievement, or challengers who want to test their limits

Each participant also receives a premium race kit, which includes:

  • Limited-edition singlet
  • Race bib
  • Loot bag
  • Dog bandana (for Dog category only)

Finishers are awarded a dreamcatcher-inspired medal. 30K finishers are also entitled to an exclusive finisher’s shirt.

Aside fostering an inclusive community and giving an opportunity to help runners achieve their personal best, the 30K category is also a celebration of EastWest’s 30th Anniversary and 70 years of Filinvest Group.

Coach Rio dela Cruz of RUNRIO, lead organizer of EastWest Dream Run 2025, affirmed that safety and security are guaranteed. With Filinvest City being the venue, expect a full-manned event, roving medics, and hydration and medical stations around.

Beyond the running event, Dream Run Village also lets you experience a space that feels like a genuine community with music, food stalls, and wellness booths. A portion of event proceeds will go to EastWest’s community initiatives, making this series more meaningful for everyone.

For Reyes, this event is a testament to the service of EastWest all throughout the years, and what they aim to do in the long run—make connections and moments for people to remember while moving them forward to endless opportunities.
