The debut record serves as the culmination of years of musical experimentation, raw personal stories, and a grand, cinematic production style. Throughout the album, Banzuelo seamlessly blends elements of dance, R&B, and dream pop to craft a distinct sonic identity.

Manila, Philippines – Raising the curtain on a distinct new artistic era, Filipino singer-songwriter and producer Ace Banzuelo has officially unveiled his debut full-length album, Supernatural. Released under Sony Music Entertainment, the comprehensive nine-track project serves as an intimate, cinematic exploration of love, betrayal, heartbreak, healing, and eventual triumph. The hitmaker weaves these deeply personal narratives together using a lush, dreamlike, and otherworldly sonic framework.
True to its thematic heart, the album dissects love and human existence at the threshold of fading innocence. Banzuelo chose the title Supernatural to represent the bizarre, otherworldly experience of meeting someone entirely new who somehow feels instantly recognizable. This deeply personal concept wasn’t built overnight; it has been evolving for eight years, with its broader artistic vision finally crystallizing back in 2024.
“I was going through a lot during that phase of my life,” Banzuelo explains. “I dealt with fame and personal things at the same time, which inspired the album’s emotional arc.”
Gliding seamlessly across dance, R&B, and dream pop, Supernatural highlights Banzuelo’s innate drive to experiment while keeping him anchored to his signature sonic roots. Instead of boxing itself into a rigid musical genre, the album approaches sound as an open landscape meant for pure creative exploration.
“As a music producer, I get to explore, experiment, and play with anything I want,” he says. “I approached the album with what I know and what I am keen to explore sonically. I want my listeners to enter a high-definition, dreamlike state. I placed my personality, experiences, and taste throughout Supernatural, from the music to its visuals.”
The nine-track record kicks off with the title track before transitioning into “Girl, You’re On My Mind,” “Bighani,” “minsan,” “Kilala,” “hindi mo alam,” “hagkan,” and “Mawala,” culminating in the focus track “Sakin.” Operating as an R&B-infused slow burn, “Sakin” unveils a deeply vulnerable side of Banzuelo, serving as an emotional confession addressed to someone who vanished from his life forever.
Reflecting on the track, the “Muli” hitmaker shares that “Sakin” is one of his rare ventures into traditional romance. “Honestly, I want to put out more stuff like this in the future,” Banzuelo reveals. He notes that his enduring love for R&B has driven constant experimentation, making “Sakin” a raw, definitive gateway into the refined musical style he has spent years building.
More than just a highly anticipated debut, Supernatural serves as a powerful testament to Ace Banzuelo’s artistic evolution, seamlessly merging his past, present, and future creative identities. Operating with absolute creative autonomy, the multi-talented songwriter, producer, and performer exercises complete authorship over the project—meticulously engineering sounds from scratch while directing the album’s intricate arrangements, vocal performances, and aesthetic visual style.
In a modern landscape dominated by quick, short-form media, Supernatural strongly advocates for the traditional concept album as a cohesive experience meant to be heard from start to finish. Far more than a simple introduction to his craft, the record offers a rare window into Ace Banzuelo’s psyche—thoughtfully engineered, deeply intimate, and hinting at a much larger narrative yet to come.
