Dyson today unveiled its next generation of products, introducing a new range of machines powered by advanced intelligence and signaling a fundamental shift in how Dyson products deliver their signature levels of performance.

Speaking at the Dyson Unveiled event in Berlin, Jake Dyson, Chief Engineer, described the evolution as a move beyond purely mechanical engineering toward machines capable of understanding and responding to their surroundings.

“We’ve always been very focused on the mechanical engineering of a product, spending decades honing the physical way that each machine performs. Now we have shifted from purely mechanical devices to intelligent machines that can see, think, and respond. We’re using artificial intelligence, vision systems and machine learning to allow the machines to understand the environment they are operating in. The approach is the same, whether it’s operating in your mouth, on your hair or around your home.”

Dyson revealed 10 new products built around this new concept of intelligence, including:

The Dyson CameraJet: Intelligent Oral Care

The only toothbrush with a camera to target gaps and remove plaque between teeth

The Dyson CameraJet™ introduces a new approach to brushing by combining brushing, targeted liquid flossing, and mouthwash dispensing in one connected device.

CameraJet is the only toothbrush with an integrated 100K-pixel macro-lens camera, powered by Gap Optical Targeting™, Dyson’s machine-learning system that identifies gaps between teeth in real time and triggers a precision burst of mouthrinse exactly where it is needed.

Developed over six years by 661 Dyson engineers, CameraJet is designed to address common oral-care challenges, including missed interdental spaces, inconsistent flossing, and brushing routines that fall short of recommended practices.

The system scans 28 live images per second, uses 16 million lines of code, and has been trained on more than 470,000 dental images to detect, track, and predict gaps between teeth—helping target areas where plaque commonly builds up.

Dyson has engineered several new technologies specifically for CameraJet, including a conical jet designed to remove plaque effectively while remaining gentle on gums and enamel; an anti-gravity tank that delivers controlled mouthrinse jets from any angle; a dual-bristle brush head designed to cover more of the tooth surface; and variable sonic oscillation to help prevent bristle stalling in hard-to-reach areas.

The system is supported by Dyson toothpaste and mouthrinse formulations developed to optimize performance and complete the dental-care experience.

CameraJet is also Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connected, enabling live viewing, guided cleaning, coverage mapping, personalized feedback, and customizable brushing and jetting modes through the MyDyson™ app.

Importantly, images captured by the system are not recorded or stored on the product or in the cloud.

Introducing the New Dyson Robot Nurovi Range

The new Dyson Nurovi range brings a new level of cleaning intelligence to the home, combining Dyson engineering with its latest vision and Neural Intelligence technologies.

The name Nurovi reflects the combination of Dyson’s Neural Intelligence technology and its latest Vision system, creating a new family of machines designed to be intelligent, highly engineered, and distinctly Dyson.

Dyson R3 Nurovi Spot+Scrub™ UV

Advanced wet-and-dry robot reveals, identifies, and eliminates invisible stains with UV-enhanced AI

The Dyson R3 Nurovi Spot+Scrub™ UV features an advanced AI stain-detection system combining UV light, AI vision, and green laser-like illumination to identify nearly 200 types of household substances and objects.

The robot can repeatedly clean detected areas until stains are removed.

Its self-cleaning wet roller uses a 12-point hydration system that continuously applies fresh, 70°C heated water to lift and remove stubborn stains while cleaning itself with every rotation.

The Nurovi R3 also features a full-width microfiber roller that extends 40mm to clean close to room edges, while a 30,000 Pa motor delivers 65% more suction pressure for powerful dry cleaning across both hard floors and carpets.

Its hygienic, cyclonic, bagless dock automatically empties, cleans, and recharges the robot after every cleaning session.

Dyson R2 Nurovi Wash+Dry

Reuleaux triangle pads deliver constant-width cleaning into corners

Many robot mops rely on circular cleaning pads, which can struggle to reach deep into corners.

The new Dyson R2 Nurovi Wash+Dry takes inspiration from the Reuleaux triangle, a triangular shape formed from three circular arcs. Its pads maintain a constant width and move through a precise eccentric pattern to create a square cleaning finish that reaches directly into corners.

This design maximizes contact with edges and corners for improved coverage, delivering greater edge-cleaning coverage compared with conventional designs.

Deep cleaning is further enhanced with 75°C water heated at the dock, helping remove stubborn stains.

The Nurovi R2 also introduces Dyson’s new Twin-capture system, which separates fine and coarse debris to improve cleaning efficiency.

Bristles on the brush bar mechanically sweep larger debris directly into the machine, reducing reliance on suction power, while the vacuum motor focuses on capturing fine dust and smaller particles.

By combining mechanical pickup with focused suction, Twin-capture is designed to deliver more efficient and consistent cleaning across different types of debris.

An Acoustic piezo sensor intelligently detects dust levels and floor types in real time, automatically adapting suction power and cleaning behavior for different surfaces.

Dyson R1 Nurovi Dry

Engineered for superior cleaning on hard floors and carpets

The Dyson Nurovi R1 Dry features the same Twin-capture technology found in the R2, paired with 21,000 Pa suction for deep cleaning of dry floors.

The Nurovi R1 also features a redesigned side-sweeper system engineered at a precise angle, with a webbed connector that actively controls the pressure and direction of the brushes.

This guides dust and debris into the airflow path in a more controlled and efficient manner instead of scattering it, while also helping reduce hair wrapping and tangling around the bristles.

The side sweepers extend outward to reach closer to walls and into corners, improving coverage in areas that are typically missed.

Dyson W1 PencilWash: A Mirror Finish, Now With Self-Cleaning

New robot vacuums and mops were not the only additions to Dyson’s floorcare lineup.

The Berlin event also introduced the Dyson W1 PencilWash™, an upgraded version of the first PencilWash wet cleaner launched in early 2026.

The new W1 PencilWash has been reengineered with a more absorbent roller and a hygienic waste system to improve performance. It also adds self-cleaning technology on the dock, while retaining the lighter and slimmer design aimed at making everyday floor cleaning more convenient.

Environmental Care: The Dawn of the HushJet Era

Dyson first introduced its new design approach in 2025 with the Dyson HushJet Compact Purifier. In April 2026, the company expanded the design philosophy with the Dyson HushJet Mini Cool Fan, bringing Dyson-level airflow performance to a portable format that quickly sold out around the world.

Inspired by aviation, the HushJet Nozzle applies aerospace principles of airflow control to the home.

Dyson engineers studied how aircraft reduce noise while moving air at extreme speeds, using complex geometries to control turbulence at its source.

The resulting principle—that form can be used to control both air and sound—helped Dyson engineers address the noise traditionally associated with powerful airflow.

Dyson is now introducing the same advanced airflow technology across its range of air purifiers, heaters, and coolers, bringing high levels of air projection to a new forward-facing design.

Dyson HushJet™ Big+Quiet Cool Pure + Ioniser + UV Air Purifier

The largest model in the range, and Dyson’s most powerful purifier, the Dyson HushJet Big+Quiet Cool Pure+ Formaldehyde/Ioniser + UV air purifier is designed for consumers who want to purify multiple rooms quickly without compromising performance.

Using Dyson HushJet air-projection engineering, the purifier delivers long-range projection designed to improve room mixing and multi-room purification.

At its core is a low-pressure, high-flow compressor combined with a three-stage filtration system that captures particulates and gases while destroying formaldehyde.

The system is designed to deliver market-leading CADR while capturing 99.999% of pollutants as small as 0.01 microns.

Additional UV sterilization helps remove 99.9% of bacteria, while an integrated ionizer further supports purification performance.

All of this is engineered to operate quietly, providing powerful purification designed to remain unobtrusive in everyday life.

Dyson HushJet Pure Cool+ Ioniser + UV Air Purifier

Designed as a high-performance medium-format purifier, the Dyson HushJet Pure Cool+ Formaldehyde/Ioniser + UV air purifier delivers powerful purification in a more compact format.

The machine is designed for consumers looking to clean large spaces quickly without moving up to a full-scale system.

The new machines deliver up to three times more powerful purification compared with their predecessors, projecting clean air farther into the room for improved whole-room purification while also providing personal cooling.

Next-Generation Straightening Technology: Dyson Corrale CoolShine™

The Dyson Corrale CoolShine™ straightener introduces a new approach to hot-plate styling, combining precision heat control, flexing plates, and active cooling to deliver glossy, sleek straight results with less heat damage.

Building on the engineering behind the original Corrale hair straightener, Dyson combines its pioneering flexing plate technology with the new Corrale CoolShine cooling attachment, delivering up to 29% less damage.

Together, the technologies are designed to transform straightening from a styling method powered primarily by heat into a more controlled approach engineered for performance, precision, and hair health.

The system addresses a central compromise of hot-plate styling: achieving sleek, lasting results while reducing unnecessary heat exposure.

Drawing on Dyson’s wider expertise in advanced thermal engineering—including heat-pipe principles used in technologies such as Dyson Solarcycle light—Corrale CoolShine uses heat-extracting pipes within its cooling attachment to transfer excess heat away from the hair during styling.

At the heart of the system is Dyson’s first-of-its-kind cooling attachment, engineered with heat-extracting pipes containing a precisely controlled amount of water.

As heat is applied during styling, the pipes draw excess heat away from the hair, cooling it as you style and helping reduce residual heat exposure.

The result is hair that feels cooler to the touch during and after styling, with a smoother and softer feel.

By removing excess heat during styling, Corrale CoolShine helps reduce heat exposure while delivering glossy, sleek straight results and up to 29% less heat damage.

Hair is left cooler to the touch, soft, and shiny, with up to 154% more shine versus untreated hair.

The lightweight and compact design also provides improved maneuverability, faster styling, controlled straightening with fewer passes, and styles that can last for up to 24 hours.

Faster Drying, Controlled Styling and Healthier Hair: Dyson Airsmooth™

The Dyson Airsmooth™ is Dyson’s first dedicated hot-air brush, designed to simplify everyday styling without compromising results.

Combining Dyson’s airflow technology with new PivotFlex™ and Anti-snag bristle technologies, the Airsmooth is engineered to dry, smooth, and lift hair while helping create a polished, natural blowout across hair types, from straight and wavy to curly.

At the center of the machine is a patented dual-bristle system designed to guide hair rather than fight it.

Anti-snag bristles use a unique looped structure that collapses to release strands easily, reducing snagging and improving scalp comfort during styling.

PivotFlex bristles feature an open-base design that diffuses and controls high-pressure airflow, helping minimize frizz and hair disturbance.

The bristles flex up to 90 degrees, while their tapered profile helps hair wrap and release smoothly, creating tension without tangles.

Arranged in a teardrop formation, the two bristle types work together to stretch curls and coils, reduce frizz, and smooth hair from root to tip in a single motion.

The Airsmooth is supported by intelligent heat control that measures temperature 100 times per second, helping deliver a controlled and comfortable styling experience while protecting the integrity of natural curl patterns and textures over time.
