Beabadoobee Drops Heartfelt New Single ‘Memories’

Mark your calendars: beabadoobee’s brand-new album, Pylon, is arriving on September 18, 2026, through Dirty Hit and Interscope Records. Fans won’t have to wait long to hear the new material live, as the singer-songwriter is also hitting the road this autumn for a massive, first-ever arena tour across North America, the UK, and Europe.

Alt-pop sensation beabadoobee has officially dropped her latest single, “Memories,” giving listeners another taste of what to expect from her upcoming album, Pylon. The highly anticipated record is scheduled to arrive on September 18, 2026, through Dirty Hit and Interscope Records, making this new track a crucial final teaser ahead of the full album rollout later this month. 

Though Bea highlights “Memories” as “one of the happiest songs on the album,” the track also dives into a deep emotional spiral. She explains that the song deals with the ache of nostalgia, capturing the experience of “clinging onto ideas that should make me happy but actually make me feel sad, because I wish they were just moments I lived in forever.”

The track perfectly captures the raw, exposed songwriting found on Pylon, an album far more expansive and intricate than any of her prior work. It is a sharp, textured rock record that swings wildly between anger, isolation, euphoria, despair, and obsessive infatuation. Having spent her teenage years sharing her life through music, Laus shares that the album was born out of solitary hotel room writing sessions, which “reminded me a lot of how I wrote songs at 17, alone in my bedroom, feeling sad as fuck.”

Fans first got to hear “Memories” live during beabadoobee’s short run of summer US shows. The song’s onstage debut was anchored by heavily buzzed-about sets at the Hinterland and Lollapalooza festivals, alongside a landmark headline performance at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre. 

Marking the largest live undertaking of her career, beabadoobee’s Live Nation-promoted Powerlines Tour officially gets underway on 1 October. The massive autumn-winter arena run spans North America, the UK, and Europe—including coveted stops at Madison Square Garden, The Kia Forum, and The O2 Arena—with tickets available now through her official website.

To build momentum, she just dropped her new track “Memories,” hot on the heels of “Switchblade” and the critically acclaimed lead single “Sun Has Set.” The latter made waves last month, accompanied by a striking, first-person music video helmed by her long-term visual collaborator and partner, Jake Erland.
