Running on alternating weekends from July 24 all the way to December 13, 2026 (from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM), they have got a different vibe for every night. You can hit up Let’s Meat Friday if you are a massive steak fan, dive into The Grand Cyan Buffet on Saturdays, or bring the whole crew for Family Table Sundays. Plus, the restaurant directly overlooks Manila Bay, so you get those stunning, world-famous sunset views while you eat.

During our stay, we got the chance to sit down and chat with Cyan’s Head Chef, and it instantly clicked why the energy here is so amazing. She is incredibly passionate about her crew, and that love trickles down into every single plate.

She told us, “My team has been doing a lot of things that I’m very proud of.” She explained that they keep things fun and positive behind the scenes, mentioning that the crew is genuinely happy in the kitchen, and that is exactly why it shows in the food they serve.

One of our favorite things she shared was how much she trusts her staff. At Cyan, it is not a rigid hierarchy—everyone has a voice. “They have the freedom to suggest,” she told us proudly. The kitchen operates like a tight-knit family. In fact, she shared a deeply personal moment with us, saying, “There were times that I was away because of my dad, but never did I worry about the work.” She knew without a doubt that Cyan was in the hands of the right people. That kind of trust is so rare, and you can honestly taste the pride and dedication in the food. 

Next-Level Customization (They Literally Made Us an Indian Feast!)

Here is where Cyan completely blew our minds: this is not your typical “pick up a plate and scoop up ready-made food” kind of buffet. The team actively goes out of their way to personalize your meal. They literally ask you what you are craving and if you have any special requests. 

We told them we were in the mood for Indian food, and the kitchen team went straight to work. What they brought out to our table was mind-blowing—super authentic, deeply flavorful Indian cuisine made right then and there. We are talking perfectly charred, juicy chicken and lamb kebabs, pillowy garlic and cheese naan that was fresh out of the oven, and even crisp, perfect pani puri. It was an absolute flavor bomb. It just goes to show how insanely talented and versatile their chefs are. They can pivot on a dime and deliver world-class global flavors customized exactly how you want it. 

We left Cyan Modern Kitchen completely stuffed, incredibly happy, and thoroughly impressed. Every single dish was a hit, but it’s the human element that makes this place a 10/10. The 5-star service, the happy kitchen culture, and the freedom to customize your dining experience make it worth every single peso.
