VinFast has taken another major step in its Southeast Asia expansion, signing Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with 14 leading e-scooter distributors in the Philippines—an agreement that strengthens its retail footprint while accelerating the country’s shift toward green mobility.

The move underscores the company’s long-term strategy to build a fully integrated electric mobility ecosystem in the Philippines, combining product rollout, distribution, after-sales service, and energy infrastructure under one coordinated network.
The newly partnered distributors include Wheeltek Motor Sales Corporation, Gentrade International Phils., Inc. (Transcycle), Superbikes Corporation, Motoxpress Sales Corporation, FMN Industrial Corp., Eduhome Enterprise Inc., Keymotors Incorporated, Motorpro by Abenson Ventures Inc., Aserco, Moto Atelier Inc., Ciclo Suerte, HG Motorzone, HGC Main Marketing (Motorboy), BLC Cycle Parts Supply, and Auto Ten Trade & Services Corp. These companies bring extensive nationwide networks, deep experience in the motorcycle industry, and strong readiness for the shift toward electric mobility.
To support its planned product introduction in June 2026, VinFast and its partners will jointly roll out a wide network of showrooms across the country. Many outlets are expected to open simultaneously during launch, laying the groundwork for rapid nationwide expansion of both sales and after-sales services.
These showrooms will be strategically located in high-demand and fast-growing areas such as Metro Manila, Metro Davao, Rizal, Laguna, Cavite, Batangas, Metro Cebu, Bulacan, and other key urban provinces. All locations will adhere to VinFast’s global operational and brand standards, ensuring consistency in customer experience and service quality.
In the initial phase, the network will introduce a lineup of swappable-battery e-scooters, including the Evo, Feliz II, Viper, and additional upcoming models tailored to local road conditions and user behavior in the Philippines.
The Philippines—one of Southeast Asia’s largest motorcycle markets—continues to experience strong demand for personal mobility amid rapid urbanization and fluctuating fuel prices. Against this backdrop, e-scooters are emerging as a practical and sustainable alternative, particularly when supported by a full-service ecosystem.
VinFast is positioning itself at the center of this transition by developing an end-to-end e-scooter ecosystem in the country, spanning dealer networks, financing solutions, after-sales services, and energy infrastructure. A key pillar of this strategy includes plans to deploy around 30,000 battery-swapping stations nationwide in partnership with infrastructure providers, designed to make charging faster, more convenient, and more accessible.
Earlier in 2026, the company also outlined its broader ambition to scale its e-scooter business across five key international markets—Philippines, Indonesia, India, Thailand, and Malaysia—reinforcing its global push toward sustainable urban mobility.
“Our partnerships with 14 major dealers in the Philippines mark an important step in rapidly establishing a strong distribution and service foundation from the outset,” said Vo Thi Cam Tu, Managing Director of VinFast E-Scooters Overseas Market. “We are not only introducing products tailored to local needs, but also building an integrated ecosystem—from battery-swapping infrastructure to after-sales services—enabling consumers to adopt e-scooters in a convenient, efficient, and sustainable way.”
With its expanding presence in Southeast Asia, VinFast continues to strengthen its position as a key player in the region’s green mobility transition, offering consumers more accessible and flexible alternatives to conventional transportation.
