Achieves the highest ranking across six out of nine dimensions; recognized for its industry-first full-stack agentic AI paradigm

Alibaba Cloud, the digital technology and intelligence backbone of Alibaba Group, has been recognized as a Leader in the newly released “Omdia Market Radar: Agentic AI Cloud Titans in Asia & Oceania, 2026,” reinforcing its position at the forefront of the rapidly evolving agentic AI landscape.

In Omdia’s comprehensive assessment of the region’s leading cloud providers, Alibaba Cloud secured the highest ranking in six of the report’s nine evaluation categories: Agent Infrastructure, Model Services & Development Tools, Agent Development Suite, Native Agent Support, Security for Agentic AI, and Open-Source Models.

The recognition highlights Alibaba Cloud’s growing leadership in providing the infrastructure, platforms, and developer tools needed to power the next generation of AI agents for enterprises and developers worldwide.

Omdia Recognizes Alibaba Cloud’s Full-Stack AI Leadership

Omdia’s report evaluates major cloud providers based on their technical capabilities, market presence, and strategic positioning across the entire agentic AI cloud ecosystem.

The study categorizes the ecosystem into three core layers:

  • Agentic AI Infrastructure
  • Model-as-a-Service (MaaS) and Development Environments
  • Agentic AI Software-as-a-Service (AI Applications)

According to the report, Alibaba Cloud distinguishes itself as one of the few providers offering a truly end-to-end AI ecosystem, owning every critical layer of the technology stack.

Its comprehensive portfolio spans proprietary AI chips, high-performance networking, the Lingjun AI Compute Cluster, the Platform for AI (PAI) machine learning platform, Model Studio, AgentScope, AgentRun, AgentBay, ACS Agent Sandbox, and Function Compute, enabling organizations to build, deploy, and scale AI agents efficiently.

Building the Next Generation of Intelligent Agents

Dr. Feifei Li, Chief Technology Officer and President of International Business at Alibaba Cloud Intelligence, said the recognition validates the company’s long-term vision for agentic AI.

“Being recognized as a Leader by Omdia validates our commitment to pioneering the next frontier of artificial intelligence. As a leading cloud provider to orient our entire platform around the Agent paradigm, we are not just building tools—we are reshaping the cloud ecosystem.”

She added that Alibaba Cloud’s secure, native, and full-stack agentic AI infrastructure is designed to help enterprises and developers seamlessly create intelligent agents capable of delivering meaningful business outcomes.

Agentic AI Market Set for Explosive Growth

The report also highlights the enormous growth potential of the agentic AI market across Asia and Oceania.

Based on Omdia’s AI software revenue forecast, the regional market is expected to expand from US$782 million in 2025 to US$11.2 billion by 2030, representing an impressive 94% compound annual growth rate (CAGR).

Driving this rapid expansion are increasing enterprise investments in artificial intelligence, particularly within the information technology, financial services, and retail sectors, where AI agents are being deployed to automate workflows, enhance productivity, and improve customer experiences.

Beyond enterprise adoption, the growing popularity of open-source AI projects such as OpenClaw and its derivatives is accelerating the use of personal AI agents among developers and technology enthusiasts.

Expanding a Comprehensive AI Ecosystem

To capitalize on this rapidly growing market, Alibaba Cloud continues to strengthen its full-stack AI portfolio by integrating advanced AI models with enterprise-ready cloud infrastructure.

At the center of its ecosystem is the Qwen family of open-source and commercial large language models, complemented by scalable cloud infrastructure, model services, and developer tools optimized for agentic AI applications.

Earlier this year, Alibaba introduced Qwen3.7-Max, its latest large language model built specifically for advanced coding assistance, complex reasoning, and long-horizon task execution.

The model supports a broad range of enterprise use cases—from rapid front-end development and multi-file software engineering to orchestrating sophisticated multi-agent workflows that enhance workplace productivity.

Infrastructure Built for the Agentic AI Era

Alibaba Cloud has also expanded its computing infrastructure to meet growing demand for AI training and inference.

Among its latest innovations is the Panjiu AL128 Supernode Server, engineered to accelerate large-scale model training and high-performance agent inference while continuously optimizing AI model performance through Alibaba’s model service platform.

To simplify AI application development, the company also unveiled Qwen Cloud, an AI-native cloud platform that streamlines model deployment for businesses, developers, and AI agents alike.

The platform enables users to build, deploy, and manage AI-powered applications more efficiently through an integrated model service experience.

Further enhancing interoperability, Alibaba Cloud recently introduced its Skills Portal, which transforms capabilities from more than 60 cloud products into skill-based, Model Context Protocol (MCP)-compatible services.

This enables AI agents to access cloud resources as naturally as invoking software functions, while dedicated AI agents across Alibaba Cloud’s database, big data, security, and operations platforms help organizations simplify cloud management and automate increasingly complex IT environments.

As enterprises across Asia and Oceania accelerate their AI transformation, Alibaba Cloud’s latest recognition from Omdia underscores its growing role in delivering the secure, scalable, and full-stack infrastructure needed to power the next generation of intelligent agents.
