LG CLOiD Redefines Home Living by Making Daily Chores Effortless, Giving Customers More Time for What Matters Most

LG Electronics is set to unveil its latest breakthrough in home robotics, LG CLOiD, at CES 2026, taking place in Las Vegas from January 6–9. Marking its first public appearance, the next-generation home robot represents a major leap forward in LG’s mission to redefine everyday living through intelligent automation.

Designed as a versatile home assistant, LG CLOiD is engineered to handle a wide range of indoor household tasks with precision and efficiency. The robot reflects LG’s forward-looking vision of the “Zero Labor Home, Makes Quality Time” — a future where smart technology meaningfully reduces the burden of chores, empowering families to focus on what truly matters.

Built for Real Homes, Designed for Real Life

Optimized for modern living environments, LG CLOiD features a thoughtfully engineered form factor that integrates seamlessly into today’s homes. Its dual articulated arms deliver seven degrees of freedom each, enabling fluid, human-like motion. Equipped with five individually actuated fingers on each hand, the robot demonstrates impressive dexterity, capable of performing delicate tasks that require fine motor control — from organizing objects to handling fragile items.

At the heart of CLOiD is an advanced chipset housed in its head, functioning as the robot’s central processing “brain.” A built-in display, speaker, camera, and comprehensive sensor array work together to enable expressive communication, intuitive voice interaction, and intelligent navigation throughout the home.

Powered by LG’s proprietary Affectionate Intelligence technology, CLOiD continuously learns from its environment and user interactions. Over time, it refines its responses to deliver increasingly personalized assistance, creating a smarter, more adaptive home experience.

Robotics as a Strategic Growth Engine

LG continues to position robotics as a cornerstone of its long-term growth strategy. To accelerate innovation, the company established the HS Robotics Lab within its Home Appliance Solution Company, strengthening its differentiated robotics technologies and enhancing product competitiveness. In parallel, LG is expanding collaborative research initiatives and forging strategic partnerships with leading robotics firms both in Korea and globally.

Visitors to CES 2026 can experience LG CLOiD firsthand, along with immersive “Zero Labor Home” demonstrations, at LG’s booth (#15004) at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

With LG CLOiD, the company moves one step closer to a future where intelligent automation doesn’t just assist — it transforms the way people live.
