Garena brings fast-paced fun to the salon with the Steam debut of Choppy Cuts, a self-developed co-op hairdressing party game built around teamwork, quick thinking, and the delightful chaos of a bustling salon. Designed for shared play, the game pushes players to communicate clearly, adapt instantly, and stay coordinated as overlapping tasks and rising demand crank up the pressure.
At its core, Choppy Cuts is all about cooperative problem-solving. Players juggle customer orders, manage timing, and work in sync as the salon grows increasingly hectic. The result is a highly social, replayable experience where sharp coordination and split-second execution are just as important as a steady hand.
To celebrate the launch, Garena is rolling out a limited-time crossover event in Free Fire. During the campaign, players can complete in-game missions to unlock Choppy Cuts–inspired rewards, including a unique hairstyle, a themed Gloo Wall, duo emotes, and even a hairdryer-reskinned weapon skin. A virtual hair salon pop-up will also appear on Free Fire’s Bermuda map for players to explore throughout the event.
Originally born from Garena’s internal game jam culture, Choppy Cuts was shaped by a strong focus on shared play and playful competition. Developed as a standalone creative project, the game blends humour, coordination, and escalating challenges into sessions designed for repeat play. At launch, players can dive into over 50 levels and choose from 11 playable characters, each offering distinct abilities that add variety and strategy to every run.
Choppy Cuts is now available on Steam for USD 16.99, with a limited-time 15% launch discount for early players. The game supports more than 10 languages, including English, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Japanese, Korean, Turkish, and more.
