Pascual Laboratories, Inc. (PascualLab) has reached a new milestone in innovation, receiving three exclusive patent approvals from the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPO) for pioneering nutraceutical compositions and formulations. The awards were presented during a special ceremony at the University of the Philippines Manila, commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Technology Transfer and Business Development Office.
The patents, granted to PascualLab’s Research & Development (Herbal) team led by Reginald Philip Alto and its institutional co-patentees, recognize breakthrough work in Philippine flora-based formulations and advanced preparation methods, rigorously studied under the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Tuklas-Lunas Program.
Under Republic Act No. 8923 (Intellectual Property Code), these patents grant the team exclusive rights for 20 years from the filing date, securing ownership of their novel creations and strengthening PascualLab’s intellectual property portfolio.
This achievement further cements PascualLab’s position as a leader in trusted healthcare and nutraceutical solutions, bolstering its lineup of well-loved products including Poten-Cee Vitamin C, Ascof Lagundi, C-Lium Fibre, and OraCare Mouthrinse.
