P1SO Sale Kicks Off AirAsia Philippines' New Cebu Hub

AirAsia Philippines is ushering in the country’s world-famous “BER months” – the official start of the Christmas season – with its highly awaited P1SO Sale, perfectly timed with the much-anticipated reopening of its Cebu hub. This exciting comeback expands both domestic and international connectivity from the Queen City of the South, making holiday travel more accessible than ever.

From September 3 to 14, 2025, travelers can book via the MOVE app for as low as ₱1 one-way base fare (exclusive of fees and surcharges) for flights between November 15, 2025 and March 28, 2026. With over 27,000 seats available, guests can secure affordable flights for family reunions, Christmas getaways, or early 2026 adventures.

The P1SO Sale includes newly reopened Cebu routes such as Davao, Caticlan, and Iloilo. International flights from Cebu to Kuala Lumpur and Macao are also up for grabs starting at just ₱888 one-way base fare.

“Christmas starts early in the Philippines, and Filipinos plan ahead for this annual gathering among family, loved ones, and friends. We are as excited as our friends in Cebu to offer value-driven products and services, beginning with the P1SO Sale that will allow them to create purposeful journeys without breaking the bank,” said Capt. Suresh Bangah, AirAsia Philippines President and CEO.

Starting November 15, 2025, AirAsia Philippines will officially resume flights on the following routes:

  • Cebu–Davao–Cebu (18x weekly)
  • Cebu–Caticlan–Cebu (11x weekly)
  • Cebu–Iloilo–Cebu (4x weekly)
  • Cebu–Kuala Lumpur–Cebu (14x weekly)
  • Cebu–Macao–Cebu (3x weekly)

“The reopening of our Cebu hub signals AirAsia Group’s strong commitment to the Philippines, opening new gateways that create economic opportunities while connecting travelers to over 136 destinations across ASEAN, North Asia, and Europe through our mega hub in Kuala Lumpur. We thank MCIA, the Philippine government, and all stakeholders for making this comeback possible,” said Amanda Woo, AirAsia Aviation Group Chief Commercial Officer.

To support Cebu hub operations, AirAsia also launched a 3-week flight deck recruitment program, with hundreds of aspiring pilots vying for a spot in the Allstar team. Successful candidates will undergo rigorous assessments and begin training by mid-September.

Meanwhile, the airline’s Allstar Wednesday Castings, its inclusive cabin crew recruitment drive, continues until October 29, 2025, every Wednesday from 10 AM to 12 NN. Interested applicants can visit the AirAsia Job Portal for requirements and details.

With the reopening of its Cebu hub and its iconic P1SO Sale, AirAsia Philippines is giving more Filipinos the gift of affordable, meaningful travel this Christmas season and beyond.
